2026 Football4all Gala Day shines
Football NSW lit up Valentine Sports Park on Sunday as the 16th annual Football4all Gala Day delivered a vibrant, joy-filled celebration of inclusive football, with more than 300 participants taking part in the flagship “All Abilities” event.
Thirty-four teams from sixteen clubs took to the pitch across a packed day of small-sided matches, alongside a full schedule of off-field activations that turned Football NSW headquarters into a festival of football, fun, and community spirit.
From face painting and jumping castles to inflatable dart boards, food trucks, and even appearances from a Fire Department truck and Police squad car, the event delivered a carnival atmosphere that matched the energy on the field.
The day was made even more special with high-profile guests in attendance, including Football NSW Board Member Ian Holmes as well as ParaMatildas Players Katelyn Smith, Eloise Northam, Tamsin Colley and representing the Football NSW Female Para Program Leah Spaine, who played an active role in presentations and celebrations throughout the day.
Football NSW Diversity, Inclusion and Club Development Coordinator Ellie Kerr reflected on the impact of the day, highlighting its growing significance in the football calendar.
“It was incredible to celebrate another Football4all Gala Day, a powerful reminder of what football is truly about.
“This event goes far beyond the game itself; it’s about inclusion, joy, and the strength of community coming together.
“Seeing participants of all abilities share the same pitch is exactly what makes football so special, and the impact this day has on so many lives continues to be genuinely inspiring.”
Football NSW extended its gratitude to all participating clubs, associations, staff, volunteers, referees, carers, and families who helped make the Football4all Gala Day such a resounding success.
