Valentine Sports Park will host the 2026 Waratah Cup Final on Wednesday 1 July, with National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW heavyweights APIA Leichhardt FC and Sydney United 58 set to contest the first piece of silverware for the season.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00pm under lights at Football NSW headquarters, with gates opening from 6:30pm.

Sydney United 58, led by coach Miro Vlastelica, will be chasing a record-extending ninth Waratah Cup title, the most by any club in the competition’s history, as they continue their strong legacy in the prestigious knockout tournament.

APIA Leichhardt FC, under Franco Parisi, will be aiming to claim their sixth Waratah Cup triumph, adding another chapter to their growing trophy cabinet and recent cup success.

The two sides are no strangers on the big stage, having met in the 2023 Waratah Cup Final where Sydney United 58 emerged 3-1 winners, adding further intrigue to this year’s decider.

Tickets for the match are now available, with fans encouraged to secure their place early as there will be no tickets sold on the night for one of the highlights of the NSW football calendar.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the concourse and at the kiosk.

Pass outs will be managed by security, any spectator who receives a pass out will be required to undergo a security check on re-entry.

The match will also be streamed live and free on the Football NSW YouTube channel.
