Round 25 Review – League Two Men’s
A big weekend of results shook up the battle for second with crucial points earned and dropped in the tight ladder in Round 25 of the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s season.
The Match of the Round this week saw a tight affair between two of the chasing teams for 2nd with Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC and Dunbar Rovers FC unable to be separated.
Match of the Round: Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 0-0 Dunbar Rovers FC
A result which hinders both sides’ chances of catching up to 2nd place saw Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC nor Dunbar Rovers FC unable to break the deadlock in a tight 0-0 draw.
Dunbar controlled the ball well in the first half but were unable to create clear-cut chances; their best chance in the first forty-five minutes came from Jack Crotty, who headed the ball straight to Bonnyrigg goalkeeper Samuel Galloway in the six-yard box.
Following a tight first half which saw just two shots each from the two sides, the match remained scoreless heading into half-time.
Dunbar came out more aggressive in the second half and put the ball into dangerous areas from crosses to the near post but could not capitalise on them.
Bonnyrigg also created more chances in the second half but could not score off their nine total shots in the match.
Dunbar, meanwhile, had a shot go over the bar from close range late in the match and also saw a powerful shot from outside the box from Guilherme Mazurkievicz Pansonato saved by Gallaway.
From the resulting corner off that save, the ball fell to William Mckinney at the far post, but he headed over the crossbar.
In the end, neither side was able to make the most of their chances, with both teams having to settle for a 0-0 draw.
The result for Bonnyrigg saw them remain in 4th on 37 points, falling to be five points behind 2nd-placed Parramatta FC, while the draw for Dunbar saw them rise one spot to 5th on 35 points, seven points behind Parramatta.

Fraser Park FC 2-1 Gladesville Ryde Magic
Fraser Park FC held off a strong Gladesville Ryde Magic finish to secure a big three points in their hunt for promotion in a 2-1 home win.
The hosts started on the front foot following successive corners, Michael Trajkovski scoring off one with a close-range volley in the 16th minute to give Fraser Park a 1-0 lead.
Gladesville responded five minutes later when Ryan French was brought down in the box for a penalty, Jayden Akouri slotting the ball home from the spot to level the match at 1-1 at half-time.
Fraser Park regained the lead three minutes into the second half when James Andrianakos scored at the far post; the hosts held off Gladesville, including two big chances for Isaac Smith, to come away with an important 2-1 win.
The win for Fraser Park saw them remain in 3rd on 39 points, three behind 2nd-placed Parramatta FC, while the loss for Gladesville was their fifth in a row and saw them remain 13th.

Sydney University SFC 2-4 Mounties Wanderers FC
Premiers Mounties Wanderers FC came from behind and held off Sydney University SFC late to continue their title celebrations after a 4-2 away win.
University started the match strongly with a goal from outside the box from Freddie Clunas in the 19th minute, but a double from Jonathan Soares in the first half saw Mounties take a 2-1 lead into half-time.
Abraham Majok gave Mounties a 3-1 lead in the 63rd minute, but University pulled a goal back ten minutes later through Daniel Barrett.
A defensive mistake from University sealed the result in the 75th minute, Luke Raso capitalising to score to give Mounties a 4-2 win in a match they grinded out; Mounties finishing with ten men after Liam Youlley received a second yellow card in stoppage time.
The loss for University saw them drop one spot to 6th on 34 points, eight points behind 2nd-placed Parramatta FC having played one match more, while the win for Mounties was their twentieth from twenty-four matches played this season.

Bankstown United FC 2-0 Granville Rage
A result which further shook up the battle for promotion saw Bankstown United FC secure the three points over Granville Rage.
Bankstown scored their first goal in the 31st minute through Mitchell Edmunds, who scored in back-to-back matches to give Bankstown a 1-0 lead at half-time.
Edmunds completed his double in the 69th minute from the penalty spot, converting to double Bankstown’s lead to 2-0.
Granville were unable to get back into the match, their promotion hopes taking a big hit in a 2-0 loss to Bankstown.
The win for Bankstown saw them snap a nine-match winless run as they remained in 14th, while the loss for Granville saw them remain in 8th, ten points behind 2nd-placed Parramatta FC with a match in hand.

Hawkesbury City FC 1-5 Parramatta FC
A five-star performance from Parramatta FC saw them maintain their advantage in the battle for 2nd in a 5-1 away win over Hawkesbury City FC.
Dean O’Donnell was at the double for Parramatta with goals in the 41st and 55th minutes, the first off diagonal ball from Alistair McKie which he finished well from and the second off a ball in behind from Darragh Reynor which he also finished nicely.
Hawkesbury pulled a goal back in the 70th minute through a clinical Aaron Peterson finish off a Lincoln Gilmour pass, but from kick-off Parramatta regained their two-goal advantage saw Ethan Oliver and O’Donnell combine to release Marco Sama, who volleyed the ball home for a 3-1 lead.
Reynor scored after pressing Hawkesbury high and forcing Hawkesbury goalkeeper Jai Whitton into a clearance which struck Reynor and found the back of the net in the 82nd minute.
The 5-1 win was rounded off in stoppage time, Kerrar Alkhazaaly playing Marco Sama in behind, who squared the ball to Mahamed Osman to score.
The loss for Hawkesbury was their third in a row and saw them remain in 10th on 30 points, while the win for Parramatta saw them maintain their three-point advantage in the battle for promotion, sitting in 2nd on 42 points.

South Coast Flame FC 0-2 Inner West Hawks FC
Inner West Hawks FC completed the perfect league double over South Coast Flame FC following a 2-0 away win.
Following a first half where Inner West had ten shots to five, they opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute, Peter Phillips slotting the ball home to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.
The Hawks continued their strong attacking display in the second half and doubled their lead in the 66th minute through Matthew Morris.
In a match where the Hawks had twenty-three shots to the Flame’s thirteen, they came away with a 2-0 win to complete the perfect league double.
The loss for the Flame saw them remain in 9th on 31 points while the win for the Hawks saw them rise one spot to 11th on 28 points.

Inner West Hawks FC 2 (Peter Phillips 43’; Matthew Morris 66’)
Camden Tigers FC 2-2 Nepean FC
Camden Tigers FC took the lead and came from behind late to earn a point in a 2-2 draw with Nepean FC.
The Tigers started the match fast with a goal to Avisai Vunisasaro in the 4th minute, but Nepean pulled a goal back through Toby Witjes, who pressed high and forced an error before scoring to level the match at 1-1 at half-time.
Witjes gave Nepean the lead from the penalty spot in the 78th minute, his fifth double of the season taking him to 17 goals total for the season.
Camden fought hard and levelled the match in the 87th minute, also from the penalty spot, Andrew Head slotting the ball home to earn a point for the Tigers in a 2-2 draw.
The draw for Camden saw them rise to ten points for the season but also saw confirmation of their last-placed finish this season, while the point for Nepean saw them drop one spot to 12th.
