Kristina Travers Appointed To Football NSW Board
Football NSW is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristina Travers as an elected member of the Football NSW Board, bringing extensive leadership, governance and transformation experience to the organisation.
With more than 20 years’ experience leading people, transformation, governance and risk across professional services, FMCG and government sectors, Travers joins the Football NSW Board with a wealth of knowledge and a strong commitment to building sustainable organisations.
Travers currently serves as a Managing Director at PwC Australia, where she leads large-scale people transformation, operational excellence and risk initiatives across Australia and internationally.
A member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Travers has developed significant governance experience through a range of board and executive leadership roles across sport and the not-for-profit sector.
She currently serves on the Softball NSW Board and most recently held the position of Vice Chair of the Lokahi Foundation, contributing to strategic direction, governance frameworks and organisational sustainability.
Football NSW Chairman Gilbert Lorquet welcomed Travers’ appointment and highlighted the value her experience will bring to the organisation.

Speaking on her appointment, Travers said she was honoured to join the Football NSW Board and looks forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of football across New South Wales.
“I am passionate about the role sport plays in bringing communities together and creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds to participate and thrive,” Travers said.
“Football NSW has a significant role in supporting the growth of the game across the state, and I look forward to working alongside the Board and wider football community to help strengthen the organisation into the future.”
