Round 29 Review – League Two Men’s
Parramatta FC confirmed their spot in the promotion/relegation playoff following Round 29’s action of the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s season.
The Match of the Round this week saw Parramatta FC confirm their spot in second after defeating their nearest rivals for the playoff spot in Fraser Park FC.
Match of the Round: Fraser Park FC 0-1 Parramatta FC
Parramatta FC confirmed their 2nd-placed finish and a spot in the League One Men’s/League Two Men’s promotion/relegation playoff after a tight 1-0 away win over their nearest challengers in Fraser Park FC.
Parramatta started the match strongly with possession, with Marco Sama doing his best to manufacture chances for the visitors.
At the other end, Michael Trajkovski was fighting hard for his team up front; however, neither side was able to break the deadlock, the score 0-0 at half-time.
Both teams created chances to start the second half; Sama for Parramatta and Jacob Sebayang for Fraser Park.
The deadlock was broken in the 60th minute when Travis Oughtred pounced on a loose ball from a throw in and calmly found the back of the net to give Parramatta a crucial 1-0 lead.
Fraser Park looked to try and catch Parramatta out on the counter, but the Eagles’ defence held well to keep them out.
The hosts looked to their bench for a response, but the closest they came was through a Christian Dos Santos shot in the 80th minute which struck the post, Parramatta running out 1-0 winners.
The loss for Fraser Park ended their promotion hopes and saw them drop from 3rd to 5th, while the win for Parramatta saw them secure their spot in 2nd and a place in the promotion/relegation playoff against either Western City Rangers FC or Prospect United FC.
Fraser Park will hunt down a 3rd-placed finish when they host Dunbar Rovers FC in the final round, while Parramatta will hope to enter their playoff matches with confidence after their final regular season match away to Camden Tigers FC.

South Coast Flame FC 1-1 Gladesville Ryde Magic
A late goal proved to be the difference in this match between South Coast Flame FC and Gladesville Ryde Magic, the two sides playing out a 1-1 draw in what was Gladesville’s final match of the season.
Gladesville took the lead in the 42nd minute from the penalty spot, Marcus Apostolakis stepping up and slotting the ball home to give the Magic a 1-0 advantage at the break.
Neither side was able to create many chances in the second half, both sides having their share of the ball.
There was late drama, however, when the Flame were awarded a penalty in the first minute of stoppage time; Jordan Roberts stepped up and converted from the spot to level the match late and earn a point for South Coast, the match finishing 1-1.
The draw for the Flame saw them drop one spot from 9th to 10th, while the point for Gladesville saw them rise two spots to 11th.

Hawkesbury City FC 2-1 Mounties Wanderers FC
Hawkesbury City FC inflicted just the third loss of the season on the Premiers, Mounties Wanderers FC, scoring late to secure a 2-1 home win.
Harrison Fox opened the scoring for Hawkesbury in the 3rd minute, making a run in behind and getting on the end of a ball from Declan Cotter; he took a touch, composed himself and found the back of the net to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.
Mounties found the equaliser six minutes later when Patrick Antelmi found time and space at the top of the box and fired a left-footed shot home, that goal taking the golden boot leader to 31 goals for the season.
Hawkesbury secured the three points in the 83rd minute when Marc Zammit won the ball high up the field and send Harry Drew in behind one-on-one; Drew had his initial shot saved by slotted home the rebound to give Hawkesbury a 2-1 win.
The win for Hawkesbury saw them rise one spot from 10th to 9th, while the loss for Mounties was their third of the year and saw their nine-match unbeaten streak end.

Central Coast United FC 1-0 Nepean FC
Central Coast United FC responded from their last-start loss and continued their strong head-to-head form against Nepean FC, running out 1-0 winners at home.
Both sides had good spells of possession and chances in the first half but were unable to find the opening goal, the two sides goalless at the break.
The winner came in the 83rd minute off a quick free kick; Jacob Waddell played the ball to Jay Swadling, who carried the ball down the left and attracted two Nepean defenders.
Swadling rolled the ball inside to Jay Goodwin, who dropped his shoulder to get past his marker and took the shot on from the edge of the box; the ball found the back of the net at the near post to give Central Coast a 1-0 win.
The win for Central Coast saw them remain in 7th, while the loss for Nepean saw them drop one spot to 13th.

Granville Rage 2-0 Camden Tigers FC
Granville Rage earned a win over Camden Tigers FC for a fourth-straight head-to-head match, a double from Leandro Carle guiding them to a 2-0 win in their final home match of the season.
Both teams had their share of possession to start the match until Granville were awarded a penalty in the 32nd minute; Leandro Carle stepped up and slotted the ball home to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.
The Tigers attacked hard in the second half to no avail, unable to break down the Granville defence.
Granville secured the win in the 90th minute when they countered off a Camden corner; they cleared the ball forward towards Carle, who composed himself and completed his double to give the Rage a 2-0 win.
The win for Granville saw them remain in 6th, while the loss for Camden saw them remain on 13 points in last place.

Dunbar Rovers FC 3-1 Bankstown United FC
Dunbar Rovers FC went a tenth match unbeaten and won a fourth-straight match after defeating Bankstown United FC for the first time in the League Two Men’s competition, 3-1.
Dunbar took the lead early in the second half, finding the back of the net in the 8th minute off a Daniel Slane own goal, before they doubled their lead in the 24th minute when Kosei Fukuyoshi scored in a one-on-one situation to give the hosts a 2-0 lead at half-time.
Bankstown came out strong in the second half and pulled a goal back through Luke Stone in the 53rd minute.
Dunbar secured the 3-1 win in the 84th minute when Marco Turpeinen dribbled inside the box and placed the ball home.
The win for Dunbar saw them rise from 4th to 3rd on the ladder, while the loss for Bankstown saw them confirmed to a 14th-placed finish in 2026.

Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 4-0 Inner West Hawks FC
Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC earned a strong 4-0 win in their final home match of the season, completing the league double over Inner West Hawks FC.
Timothy Borg-Williams was at the double in the first half, scoring in the 2nd and 36th minutes, respectively, for his 11th and 12th goals of the season to give the White Eagles a 2-0 half-time lead.
Luka Golub scored three minutes into the second half to give the hosts a 3-0 lead.
Bonnyrigg rounded out the scoring in the 60th minute when Daniel Bittar found the back of the net for the 15th time this season, taking him up to equal-fourth on the top goalscorer chart this season and giving Bonnyrigg a 4-0 win.
The win for Bonnyrigg saw them rise one spot to 4th, while the loss for Inner West saw them drop one spot to 12th.
