13 Boys Final

Western Condors 0 (4) – Collaroy Cromer Strikers 0 (2)

After 80 minutes of scoreless football, Western Condors held their nerve during the penalty shootout to lift the 13 Boys Champion of Champions title.

Condors left-back Liam Luong provided the first real threat on goal but couldn’t hit the target. Towards the end of the half, Luong and Joziah Lokondo combined to set up Aahil Muhammad for a shot that went wide. Then, with almost the last action before half-time, Strikers goalkeeper Hudson Searle made a brave save to deny Kokondo.

Just after the restart, Kokondo weaved through the defence to set up Christian Khairo, with Searle making the stop. Searle came to the fore again towards the end of the second half, making a flying save from Adam Karrar’s shot.

The game moved into extra time, and Strikers were the next team to go close, with Brody McLoughlin’s long-range shot requiring an excellent save from Condors custodian Kristian Galea. A minute later, Strikers nearly scored a fortuitous golden-goal winner, as a high cross from Harley Edwards rebounded off the crossbar.

In the second half of extra time, Searle was heroic, making a point-blank save to prevent Karrar from scoring. With penalties looming, Searle made one more great stop, reaching high to tip Luong’s shot over the crossbar.

In the shootout, it was the Condors who were clinical from 12 yards, converting all four of their spot kicks. Muhammad scored the decisive penalty, sparking scenes of jubilation among the Condors faithful.

13 Girls Final

Hurstville City Minotaurs 0 – Pittwater RSL FC 5

Pittwater RSL FC soared to the 13 Girls Champion of Champions title after their 5–0 win over Hurstville City Minotaurs. From start to finish, they proved to be a level above Hurstville, with Claudine Scamps scoring a fantastic hat-trick.

It was a dream start for Pittwater, who went 3–0 up inside the opening five minutes when Starsia Fazzolari-Huynh beat her opposing defender to slot the ball home.

Following that, a clearance from Hurstville’s Deanne Moisdis led to a corner kick for Pittwater, who scored directly from Frankie Ryles’ delivery as the ball sneaked over the outstretched hand of the goalkeeper and into the top corner.

Claudine Scamps then evaded Audrey Cis with a powerful run down the field before leaving the Minotaurs goalkeeper with no chance, capping off her side’s barnstorming start.

Pittwater had more in them, however, as their 11th-minute effort deflected off the post. The 25th minute then saw Scamps strike again after using her speed to manoeuvre through several players before smashing the ball home.

The second half began in a much more even fashion, with both sides having opportunities to convert. Cleoniki Zeidan shot narrowly wide for Hurstville in the 40th minute.

However, down the other end of the field just one minute later, Scamps broke through the Minotaurs’ defence, finding herself on the end of a perfect through ball to secure her hat-trick.

Hurstville’s spirits weren’t diminished, though, and in the 46th minute, Arianna Calavrias tried her luck from distance but to no avail.

The scoreline ultimately doesn’t reflect the Minotaurs’ resilience, while Pittwater claimed a title win they dominated from start to finish.

14 Boys Final

Bass Hill Rangers FC 1 – Umina United SC 0

Bass Hill Rangers won 1–0 against Umina United SC to be crowned 14 Boys Champions of Champions on Sunday afternoon.

It was a tight opening to the contest, with both sides having a few half-chances but neither troubling the opposing goalkeeper.

Bass Hill Rangers made it 1–0 in the 21st minute. Abalbal Aymen skipped past a defender and the goalkeeper before slotting home.

The Rangers looked to extend their lead soon after. A long-range strike had to be tipped over by Umina United SC goalkeeper Augie Hunt.

Bass Hill Rangers kept pushing forward for a second goal. Zackariya Hallak stood over a free kick, which was thudded into the wall and swept away.

Umina United SC tried to find a way back into the game. They won a corner, but it was cleared by the Bass Hill Rangers defence.

Bass Hill went close again from a set piece. A free kick found the head of Moemen Ali, who nodded it straight at Hunt.

Umina United SC had a late free kick of their own, which was launched into the box, but Bass Hill Rangers goalkeeper Omar Zoobi was able to gather.

Umina kept fighting until the final whistle. Lucas Wood unleashed a strike that required a diving save from Zoobi to preserve the Rangers’ lead.

14 Girls Final

Moorebank Sports SC 1 – Kincumber FC 2

Kincumber FC won the 14 Girls Champion of Champions final in the most breathtaking way possible, prevailing 2–1 over Moorebank Sports SC after Darci Ellery’s electrifying strike with one minute remaining delivered a dramatic victory.

Camilla Toilolo produced a scintillating run down the field in the sixth minute. However, she couldn’t create enough separation from her opposing defender to get a shot away for Moorebank.

Just two minutes later, Mariah Saliba attempted a skilful overhead kick but couldn’t bring the ball down enough to challenge Kincumber goalkeeper Zoe Stewart, as Moorebank continued their attacking spell.

Toilolo continued to influence the game in the 12th minute when she broke through Kincumber’s backline, only to shoot straight at Stewart after finding herself one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

The second half began in the most unexpected way, with Darci Ellery opening the scoring for Kincumber in the 33rd minute. Kiara Senior-McGlinchy thwarted the initial attack, and Ellery herself was on the ground after a challenge with an opponent. However, Ellery stretched out her leg to sneak the ball in.

With the pressure firmly on Moorebank, their relief was immense when Alannah Dugas appeared to have scored in the 44th minute, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside.

With time winding down, Saliba appeared to be Moorebank’s saviour as she pushed past Kincumber’s defence in the 49th minute before rolling the ball past Stewart to equalise.

However, their hopes were all but dashed one minute from full-time when an absolutely sensational long-range strike from Ellery beat Senior-McGlinchy and sailed into the back of the net to seal the dramatic victory.

It was truly a match fitting of the final, with Kincumber coming out on top in the most thrilling of circumstances.

15 Boys Final

Banksia Tigers FC 0 – Lilli Pilli FC 2

Lilli Pilli FC secured the 15 Boys Champion of Champions title following a clinical performance against Banksia Tigers FC, who could not capitalise on their late momentum.

Lilli Pilli had the first few notable chances of the match, with Owen Lovell-Ward striking the ball just over the goal from inside the box. A strong save from Banksia goalkeeper Ali Adadda also denied Lilli Pilli.

Banksia worked their way into the first half but were thwarted by the Lilli Pilli defence. Their best chance of the half came from distance, but the effort sailed over the goal.

Lilli Pilli broke the deadlock after half-time when a free kick launched into the box took a few deflections and fell to Jack Austen, who slotted the ball into the bottom-left corner with a calm, right-footed finish to give Lilli Pilli a 1–0 lead.

Austen was dangerous for Lilli Pilli again during their next attack, rattling the crossbar from range following a throw-in.

Lilli Pilli doubled their lead when Finn Clarke got to a ball played in behind the defence ahead of Adadda. He slid the ball past the goalkeeper and slotted it home to give Lilli Pilli a 2–0 lead.

Banksia had momentum towards the end of the match, but strong goalkeeping from Lilli Pilli goalkeeper Kieran Johnston kept them at bay. Lilli Pilli won the Champion of Champions title following a 2–0 victory over Banksia.

15 Girls Final

Lindfield FC 1 – Kirrawee Kangaroos Football Club 3

Kirrawee Kangaroos Football Club claimed a comprehensive 3–1 victory over Lindfield FC in the 15 Girls Champion of Champions final, with two goals from Jazz Crampton helping them overcome a formidable opposition side.

It took just two minutes for Kirrawee to open the scoring after the ball bubbled around in the box before a smartly taken shot from close range by Jazz Crampton slipped past Abigail Symons.

Four minutes later, they came within inches of scoring a second after Symons narrowly pushed the ball away, before Lucinda Walter made a goal-line clearance, with the Kangaroos causing all sorts of trouble.

Kirrawee continued to attack strongly in the 21st minute when Addison Garner’s shot took a deflection, before their follow-up effort rattled off the post.

However, in the 26th minute, they ultimately made it 2–0 after a handball in the box presented Leila Carr with the perfect opportunity to score from the penalty spot. She duly converted, rolling the ball down the middle.

With half-time approaching, the Kangaroos continued to press Lindfield’s goal and scored again as Crampton found herself with ample room to move after the ball was selflessly left for her to shoot.

Desperately needing to strike back, Lindfield scored an early second-half goal through Agnes Rydderch to regain some momentum after she poked the ball home amid a number of players vying for possession.

Continuing to try to force an attack wherever possible, Lindfield saw their 50th-minute effort thump off the underside of the crossbar and back into play. They came close again in the 52nd minute when Rydderch’s valiant long-range effort was saved. When the ball came back to her seconds later, her next on-target attempt took a significant deflection off the Kirrawee defence.

Ultimately, Lindfield’s late surge mattered for little, as Kirrawee withstood the pressure to hold on for a two-goal victory in the final.

16 Boys Final

Balmain DFC 2 – Georges River FC 1

Balmain DFC won 2–1 against Georges River FC in golden-goal extra time to become 16 Boys Champions of Champions at Valentine Sports Park on Sunday afternoon.

Georges River FC made it 1–0 in the sixth minute. Alex Karakatsanis weaved through the defence and cut the ball back for Brodie Piper to tap home.

They surged forward again, looking for a second goal. Nicholas Miamoto-Garcia tried to flick the ball home, but the Balmain goalkeeper was able to gather.

Balmain DFC tried to find an equaliser. Louis Bent skipped past a few players and drilled an effort straight at the Georges River FC goalkeeper.

Bent continued to be the outlet for Balmain. He whipped in a free kick that the Georges River goalkeeper tipped over.

The pressure continued from Balmain DFC before half-time. The ball fell to Christian Mandap outside the box, and he forced another crucial save.

It was an end-to-end contest. Georges River FC countered quickly through Nicholas Yan, who bent his strike past the right post.

Balmain DFC made it 1–1 in the 43rd minute. A low pass found Xav Baldwin, who finished at the second attempt.

They looked to complete the turnaround from a corner. The ball fell to Ethan Lewis at the back post, but he couldn’t poke it home.

Balmain pushed for a winner late in the game. They had a few half-chances, including a free kick that was sent over the bar.

Neither team could find a winner, so the match went to golden-goal extra time. Bent curled an effort over for Balmain DFC, while Nicholas Yan did likewise for Georges River FC.

Balmain DFC won the game in the 73rd minute. Jake Dewhurst strode forward from a delightful pass from Yan and finished well to make it 2–1, sparking wild celebrations for his side.

16 Girls Final

Rockdale City Suns FC 0 – Seaforth FC 1

Seaforth FC held on to prevail 1–0 against Rockdale City Suns FC and claim the 16 Girls Champion of Champions title, with Amira Sharannizadeh’s brilliant 16th-minute free kick being all that separated the two finalists.

It was a cagey start from both sides, with the early stages spent avoiding anything too adventurous. However, Amira Sharannizadeh shattered that pattern in the 16th minute for Seaforth when her free kick from a long way out sailed over the outstretched hands of Alannah Carnovale before bouncing once and landing in the back of the net.

After that, both teams were far more willing to venture into opposition territory. Victoria Alepheris evaded the Seaforth defence in the 23rd minute before ceding possession, despite being in a great position to shoot. Meanwhile, a Seaforth defensive wall prevented Rockdale’s Sienna Hanna from doing much damage in the 29th minute.

With Rockdale needing a goal, they began the second half moving forward with purpose as Ava Ajjaka narrowly missed out on beating Ava Baker to the ball. Her follow-up effort then went wide in a chaotic sequence where the ball could have landed anywhere.

Seaforth’s first major chance of the second half came in the 44th minute when Zara Parslow received the ball close to goal, needing only to tap it in for a certain strike. However, her touch let her down, and she kicked the ball out of play.

In the 55th minute, Parslow again pushed forward with great intent, only for her shot to miss the target as the Northern Beaches side tried to establish a two-goal buffer.

As the game reached its climax, Rockdale’s 68th-minute corner failed to produce an equaliser, and Seaforth held on for an unforgettable victory, with just one goal separating the two sides.

17 Boys Final

Lindfield 0 – Kirrawee Kangaroos 2

A goal in each half was enough for Kirrawee Kangaroos to be crowned 17 Boys Champion of Champions winners.

Lindfield’s Jared Thomas was the first player to threaten, with a shot that drew a sharp save from Kangaroos goalkeeper Jayden Fairweather. A minute later, Kirrawee attacked, and Finnlay Phelps was stopped by a last-ditch tackle from Lindfield defender Ivan Tsui.

Kirrawee drew first blood with a well-worked set piece in the 14th minute. Cooper Moran picked out Loxley Callendar at the back post, who cleverly nodded the ball across the face of goal, allowing Jacob Santo to score from close range.

The Kangaroos had another chance in the 26th minute, when Phelps hit the side netting after good build-up play from Kobe Cook.

Four minutes into the second half, Fairweather stood tall to keep Kirrawee in front, making a double save to deny Hamish Webber and Ansson So. At the other end of the pitch, Phelps continued to threaten, and when the Kangaroos broke quickly, he played a great through ball, but Lachlan Head couldn’t convert the chance.

Lindfield chased the game as time ran down, and Kirrawee were forced to defend deep for much of the closing stages. However, the Kangaroos still posed a threat on the counter-attack and made it 2–0 in the 79th minute. Charlie Santo played Jacob Santo in behind the defence, and his pressure forced the goalkeeper to clear the ball into him, with it rolling into an open goal.

18 Men Final

Lindfield 1 – St Augustine’s 4

A late flurry from St Augustine’s earned them the 18 Men Champion of Champions title after a hard-fought game against Lindfield.

Both teams got themselves on the scoreboard during a frantic opening period. In the 14th minute, a scramble ensued in the Lindfield penalty area, with the ball rebounding off Freddie Brown and into the net. However, Lindfield equalised less than a minute later when Marcus Kruger intercepted a pass and coolly finished past the goalkeeper.

There could easily have been more goals in the first half. Lindfield forward Ethan Edwards hit the crossbar twice and was also denied by a brilliant save from St Augustine’s shot-stopper Hugo Dell’Agnese. At the other end, Lindfield goalkeeper Felix Reed showed excellent reflexes to prevent Brown from scoring a second goal.

Two minutes into the second half, Sebastian Dandre was the saviour for St Augustine’s, clearing Zachary Smith’s header off the goal line and preventing Lindfield from going 2–1 ahead. Nine minutes later, Brown headed wide after getting on the end of a cross from fellow St Augustine’s attacker Guillermo Orlando Hale.

St Augustine’s stepped up the pressure in the closing stages, scoring three times in the final ten minutes. Hale provided two pinpoint corner kicks: one for Brown to score his second goal of the game, and another for Max Cansick to get on the scoresheet. With the final action of an exciting contest, Will Currie pounced on a loose ball and found the top corner from 25 yards out.

18 Women Final

Lindfield FC 4 – Lilli Pilli FC 3

Lindfield FC edged out Lilli Pilli FC 4–3 to win the 18 Women Champion of Champions final in the most thrilling way possible, after Melanie Li’s calmly taken 83rd-minute penalty secured the much-celebrated victory.

Lilli Pilli launched straight into the final, with an early slide tackle from Emeline Bourke denying Elsie Kok a chance to shoot near the box. Their defence quickly turned into attack in the eighth minute, when Kayla Babington beat Lindfield goalkeeper Keira Green at her near post to score.

Lindfield tried to strike back immediately, only for Gemma Curtis to drag her shot straight into the hands of Carla Sparkes. That proved to be one of Lindfield’s better opportunities of the half.

In the 30th minute, Lilli Pilli went 2–0 ahead after Babington showed off her skills from long range, scoring with her initial touch just inside the box for her second goal.

With Lindfield needing a goal, Kok came out with pace in the second half, beating both Bourke and Zara Tindall in the 52nd minute before scoring.

Just two minutes later, Lindfield found a way to equalise after Curtis’ high corner kick was virtually tapped in by Alyssa Holmes.

However, almost as soon as Lindfield had equalised, Lilli Pilli sensationally regained the lead as Poppy Hulbert curled her shot in beautifully on the hour mark.

With more twists and turns to come, Lindfield forged another equaliser in the 79th minute after Holmes brilliantly fired into the far top corner with her first touch for her second goal.

A foul from Haylee Hanley in the box three minutes later continued the frenetic contest, as Melanie Li stepped up to take the penalty. She calmly placed the ball into the net under Sparkes’ arm to give Lindfield a dramatic 4–3 advantage.

That was how the match finished, with Lindfield FC edging out Lilli Pilli FC to win the final.

21 Men Final

North Turramurra 1 – Enfield 0

North Turramurra prevailed in a close contest to be crowned 21 Men Champion of Champions winners.

Both teams showed attacking intent in the early minutes. North Turramurra won a couple of corners, while Enfield’s Matthew Brady forced a save from North Turramurra goalkeeper Noah Hanlon.

In the 24th minute, enterprising play from Enfield’s Cooper Verheijen set up Ciano Errichiello, but he couldn’t hit the target. North Turramurra responded with some patient passing, and a neat team move found Tom Bennett in space. His low drive zipped past the far post.

Enfield attacker Daniel Ferreira then went extremely close to scoring after his team won possession by pressing high up the pitch. His 25-yard strike cannoned off the frame of the goal.

Fans were still taking their seats for the start of the second half when North Turramurra broke the deadlock. Harrison McConochie and Tom Bennett advanced the play and created a chance for Lucas Garin, who buried the ball in the bottom corner.

North Turramurra did their best to control the game after taking the lead, and they were still able to create chances. With about 15 minutes remaining, Cameron Masters stole possession and fired off a quick shot that flew over the crossbar.

Myles Kesby also went close for North Turramurra as time started to wind down, and Zac Blair nearly made it 2–0 when he smashed a 20-yard strike off the crossbar. In the end, a single goal was enough for the team from the Northern Suburbs.

All Age Men Final

Budgewoi 4 – Arncliffe Aurora 0

Budgewoi put in a formidable performance to earn the All Age Men Champion of Champions trophy.

In the 18th minute, Budgewoi forward Tahj Werner was rewarded for his opportunism as he chased a long ball from Joshua Swadling and pounced on a defensive error to give his team a 1–0 advantage.

Despite being behind, Arncliffe Aurora remained persistent. In the 32nd minute, great skill from Mitchy Jomaa could have led to an equaliser, but neither Mohamed Soummaka nor Jordan Hassiem was able to apply the finishing touch. Mohamed Farhat was the next Aurora player to threaten, but his free kick was saved by Budgewoi goalkeeper Bayley Appo.

Swadling was involved in the first goal and also hit the post in the first half, so it was fitting that he scored Budgewoi’s second goal five minutes after the restart, using a good touch to make space before producing a precise finish.

Budgewoi were now in full flow, and their third goal came from a flowing, end-to-end move. Defender Liam Sterrett started the attack with an interception and a surging run into opposition territory before finding Swadling in space. When Swadling crossed into the area, Sterrett had continued his run and laid the ball off for Charlie Entwistle to score with a dipping 20-yard shot.

With three minutes remaining, it was Entwistle’s turn to create a goal. He showed quick feet in the area before crossing for Tahj Werner to score from point-blank range, completing his brace and Budgewoi’s fourth goal of a memorable evening.

All Age Women Final

Gymea United Football Club 6 – UTS FC 2

Gymea took out the All Age Women Champion of Champions final after their comprehensive 6–2 defeat of UTS FC. It was an attacking masterclass from Gymea, who were strong from start to finish.

Siobahn Dibley showed flashes of potential in the 15th minute as she nearly won a foot race to the ball from a long way out, steaming towards goal. Showing all her poise moments later, she flew through the UTS defence before opening the scoring.

The lead lasted just four minutes before Frances Klein struck back for UTS with authority. She turned Gymea inside out from the edge of the box before striking the ball sweetly, leaving an outstretched Michaela Davies helpless.

Almost as soon as UTS created some opportunities, Gymea responded. In the 34th minute, after two missed shots by her side, it was third time lucky for Jade Melrose, who gave Gymea the advantage.

Not long after, Gymea scored their third goal in the 41st minute following a tremendous effort from Jasmin Saunders near the sidelines, which floated into the far side of the goal.

Striker Emily De Freitas took it upon herself to try to regain some ascendancy for UTS with an early second-half free kick, unfortunately sending it straight into the hands of Davies.

Despite doing many things right, UTS’s hopes were all but dashed in the 57th minute when Annaliese Glastonbury made two impressive quick-fire stops, only to be unable to save Saunders’ second strike of the afternoon.

A late 81st-minute strike from Lillian Dummett gave UTS a well-earned second goal. Meanwhile, a failed clearance in the second minute of injury time saw Saunders complete her hat-trick. With the ball presented to her cleanly, she took her time before slotting it home.

Gymea added a sixth goal deep into injury time after a composed run and finish from Dibley, with the team running out dominant winners.

Killarney District SC came away as dominant 6–0 winners over Lane Cove FC to secure the O30 Women Champion of Champions title.

Killarney opened the scoring after 15 minutes when Melissa Young used good footwork to get into the box. Her shot was saved, but Candice Phelan slotted home the rebound to give Killarney a 1–0 lead.

Killarney had all the momentum and doubled their lead in the 28th minute when a cross from Kaitlyn Murphy was headed home by Phelan for her second goal.

Two minutes later, Killarney scored their third, with Phelan completing her 15-minute hat-trick with an almost identical goal to her second. She sent a bullet header into the back of the net to give Killarney a 3–0 lead.

Killarney added a fourth goal in the 40th minute. Young added a goal to her earlier assist with a shot into the bottom-right corner, followed by a cartwheel celebration as Killarney went into half-time 4–0 ahead.

Killarney continued their dominance after the break with a fifth goal in the 59th minute. Phelan completed her haul with her fourth goal of the match, scoring with a calm, close-range finish.

Over 35 Men Final

Dolls Point 0 – Berkeley Vale 5

Berkeley Vale gave their fans a five-star performance on their way to claiming the Over 35 Men Champion of Champions title.

The team from the Central Coast didn’t have to wait long to open the scoring. In the 14th minute, Scott McGinley received Paul McGinley’s quick free kick and blasted a swerving shot into the top corner.

Five minutes later, Berkeley Vale’s Brenton Olzomer tried an audacious dipping shot from 40 yards out, with Dolls Point goalkeeper Hussein Chamseddine doing well to parry the ball away.

Dolls Point responded, and after a promising counter-attack, Robson Aparecido de Souza sent the ball fizzing over the crossbar. Ahmed Chandab was the next player to try his luck, and his shot wasn’t too far away from the top corner.

Berkeley Vale stepped up a gear in the second half, and once again, the two McGinleys led the charge. Paul McGinley converted from the spot in the 53rd minute after Scott McGinley had won a penalty, doubling his team’s lead.

A flourish in the final ten minutes led to three more Berkeley Vale goals. It was 3–0 after a strong run from Nathan Stephenson, who set up Scott McGinley for an easy finish. Scott McGinley then completed his hat-trick in the 85th minute after receiving a good pass from Troy Baxter.

Incredibly, Scott McGinley finished the match with four goals to his name. In the final minute, Troy Mumford picked out the striker for another goal to make it 5–0.

Hurstville City Minotaurs 3 – Eastwood St Andrews FC 0

Hurstville City Minotaurs, known as one of the most decorated sides in this division’s history, won 3–0 against Eastwood St Andrews FC to become O45 Men Champions of Champions on Sunday night at Valentine Sports Park picking up its record 7th ever title.

Hurstville City Minotaurs made it 1–0 in the 10th minute. Manuel Sarikakis pounced on a loose back pass and slotted home.

Eastwood St Andrews FC tried to peg them back on the counter-attack. The ball was sent to Nathan Metcalfe at the back post, and he curled it past the left post.

The Minotaurs kept up the pressure and looked to double their advantage. Hussein Jomaa had time on the ball and unleashed a strike straight at Eastwood goalkeeper Cameron Peake.

Jomaa had another attempt at goal from a set piece. He curled his free kick over the wall, but Peake plucked it out of the air.

Hurstville City Minotaurs made it 2–0 in the 31st minute. A ball over the top found Jomaa, who produced a superb touch, flicked it over a defender and thrashed it home.

Eastwood finished the first half with a flurry. A deep free kick was flicked on by Adam Hanlon, but Minotaurs goalkeeper Dragan Pupovac was able to fall on the ball.

The Minotaurs started the second half at a fast pace. Jomaa released Steven Lourbeas, who fired straight at the goalkeeper.
