2018 Competitions Declaration of Leagues
At its meeting on 18 September 2017, the Football NSW Board considered the applications submitted by Football Associations, Clubs and Regional Branches (the Clubs) to participate in the men’s, women’s, boys’ and girls’ leagues conducted by Football NSW in the 2018 season.
Please find the attached circulars pertaining to the 2018 Declaration of Leagues for the following:
- 1705 – 2018 FNSW Men’s Competitions
- 1706 – 2018 FNSW Women’s Competitions
- 1707 – 2018 FNSW Boys’ Youth Competitions
- 1708 – 2018 FNSW Skill Acquisition Program
- 1709 – 2018 FNSW Girl’s Skill Acquisition Program
Football NSW is committed to the continued improvement of competition management, establishing best practice platforms from which Clubs can continue to provide development and performance opportunities for the State’s talented players.
Participation in Football NSW competitions is contingent upon Clubs’ continued commitment to the National and State football framework.
We remind all successful applicants of their responsibility to adhere to the terms and conditions of the Participation Agreement, FFA and FNSW rules and regulations while participating in our competitions and programs. For clarity, entry into, and continued participation in, Football NSW Competitions, the WFFA Cup and the PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Finals Series is contingent upon ongoing compliance with the Participation Agreement.
We also remind Clubs that it is a requirement under the Participation Agreement that each of their Players, Club Officials and Team Officials are registered on MyFootballClub. Further, their registration must be by way of self-registration.
We also take this opportunity to remind Clubs of their responsibility to meet the commercial and financial obligations associated with participation in Football NSW competitions. Any financial default will be dealt with in accordance with the Football NSW By-Laws and the Football NSW Grievance & Disciplinary Regulations and may result in the loss of competition<s>s</s> points, the forfeiting of matches, the imposition of fines and/or other sanctions.
We extend our thanks to the Clubs for their efforts in embracing the National and State objectives and we look forward to working with all Clubs to see our common goals achieved in 2018 and beyond.
We would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the important role Football Clubs, Associations and Regional Branches play in providing development opportunities for the State’s talented players. There is a great deal of work undertaken to provide these opportunities, for which Football NSW is extremely grateful.
