Cranbrook School have claimed yet another trophy for their ever growing football cabinet in 2018 taking out the CIS Cup defeating the International Football School 2-0 at Valentine Sports on Wednesday evening in front of a raucous crowd.

It was all smiles as the Lloyd Owusu coached side showed its class thanks to two goals from Henry Bickerstaff and Gabriel Antoniades that did enough to award the school its second trophy following their St Andrews Cup triumph earlier this year.

Owusu was visibly proud of the effort and achievement his boys put together in making their own history taking out the CIS Cup.

“I am very proud of my boys.

“I set them a challenge and they achieved it massively.

“I couldn’t have asked for anything more than that they thoroughly deserved this.

“A huge special thanks to the school for bringing down the students to support also, they were electric.

“Also, Angelique Sanders, my team manager for doing everything for the squad as well as Ben Rollison, Trinity Allen our goalkeeper coach and Darrell O’Neill our conditioning coach.

“Everyone played a key role in our success but the boys were outstanding.”

Since Owusu’s arrival as the school’s football coach, Cranbrook School have gone from strength to strength and have now become one of the most feared teams in their respective competition – watch this space as this talented squad looks set for more successes by the years end.
