As we head to the halfway stage of the Futsal Premier League Open Men’s competition, the league remains packed tighter than a can of sardines which sets up a fabulous finish. We have four great games to enjoy across Saturday afternoon and night so, let’s get onto the preview!

Dural Warriors vs Inner West Futsal Club, Saturday 22 October, 4:50pm, The Centre – Dural

Starting off the round is Dural Warriors hosting Inner West Futsal Club at The Centre – Dural on Saturday afternoon.

Dural Warriors are sat in seventh spot after their 2-0 loss to Mountain Majik at the same venue last weekend and will want to bounce back. They will rely on Glen Kelshaw and Brandon Vella to help them get three vital points.

For Inner West Futsal Club, they are flying at the moment in a three-way tie at the summit of the FPL Open Mens competition and scoring goals for fun. It will be about just keeping at their current form and cement their spot in the top four.

Mascot Vipers vs Enfield Allstars, Saturday 22 October, 5:30pm, PCYC Hawkesbury

Mascot Vipers are back home and face off against a high-flying Enfield Allstars at PCYC Hawkesbury on Saturday afternoon.

For the Vipers, they found their stride in a 6-3 win against Campbelltown City Quake which has them in striking distance of the top four. Thomas Quilligan is a lethal marksman for the Vipers with 10 goals already in the campaign and is their main danger.

The visitors won back-to-back games after their 4-1 success against UTS Northside in the Match of the Round last weekend. Shervin Adeli was pulling the strings for the Allstars and had a great understanding with Dominic Cox and Charles Abou Serhal which will be key for them.

Mountain Majik Futsal Club vs Campbelltown City Quake, Saturday 22 October, 6:50pm, Valentine Sports Park

Fourth place Mountain Majik take on Campbelltown City Quake in an intriguing clash at Valentine Sports Park on Saturday night.

Mountain Majik head into their home clash off a 2-0 win against Dural Warriors which has them in the top four at the almost midway mark. Adam Nisbet has four goals in three games and be a key marksman for the Majik.

The Quake have had a tough campaign through the first six weeks and will be keen to get their first win of the season soon enough. Harrison James fired home a brace in their loss last week and he will want to find the back of the net again, hopefully in a positive result.

Eastern Suburbs Hakoah Futsal Club vs UTS Northside, Saturday 22 October, 6:50pm, Morris Iemma Indoor SC

Eastern Suburbs Hakoah Futsal Club welcome UTS Northside to Morris Iemma Indoor SC for an important clash on Saturday night.

The hosts had their three-game unbeaten streak snapped in their 6-2 loss to Inner West Futsal Club last weekend and aim to rebound and pick up three points. Wellington Oliveira has been in fine form the last fortnight with three goals and be a key man.

UTS Northside are also looking to bounce back after their 4-1 Match of the Round loss to Enfield Allstars last week. They will lean on goal scorer from last week Nathan Amore to help their cause alongside Saxon Hillyer in a tight contest.
