Sutherland Shire Football Association’s (SSFA) Caringbah Redbacks FC were crowned 2025 Bill Cullinan Cup winners in their 5-1 win against Coogee United in the All Age Mens final at Valentine Sports Park on Sunday afternoon.

Caringbah Redbacks made it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. The corner swung out to Bailey Fowler who curved home.

The Redbacks tried to double their delight soon after. Kane Arduin went past a defender into the box and fired over the bar.

They continued to push for another goal. Harrison Jones piloted a header straight then Anthony Mann dragged an effort wide.

Next. Jordan Wang had a pair of opportunities for the Redbacks. Both his shots flying past the posts.

Coogee United FC earned a few set piece opportunities themselves but weren’t able to trouble the Redbacks keeper Will Daly.

Their first chance of the game came in the 31st minute through Liam Preston. He cut inside his defender and fizzed it past the right post.

The Redbacks made it 2-0 in the 32nd minute through Wang. The ball over the top was misjudged and the attacker rolled it home.

Caringbah Redbacks FC went close to a third late in the half. Arduin glided past a defender into the box and forced Coogee United FC keeper Barry Gilligan into a save.

They started the second half with a similar spring in their step. Arduin cut it back for Wang to fire right at Gilligan.

Arduin was a nuisance for the Coogee United defence. He snuck in to snatch the ball and forced Gilligan into a pair of big stops to keep it at 2-0.

Coogee United brought it back to 2-1 in the 59th minute. The free-kick from Matthew Smith was flighted in well and Liam Preston nodded home.

Wang had a golden chance to restore Caringbah Redbacks FC two-goal lead. He was threaded through and whipped it past the post after retrieving his initial shot.

The Redbacks made it 3-1 in the 69th minute. Wang pushed the pass ahead for Arduin who chipped it over the keeper.

The task got harder for Coogee United FC in the 71st minute. Benjamin Anderson was sent off after his foul on Nya Cofie.

Caringbah added a fourth goal in the 76th minute. A mix up between Gilligan and the Coogee United defender saw Arduin sweep home his second for 4-1.

Cofie put the icing on the cake for the Redbacks. He drilled a shot into the top corner for 5-1 in the 85th minute.
