Round 13 Preview – League One Men’s
Round 13 in the Football NSW League One Women’s competition is a blockbuster weekend of action which will help shape up the ladder as we head to the halfway mark of the season.
There are six games to enjoy on a Super Sunday including a top-of-the-table clash between SD Raiders FC and Newcastle Jets FC in the Match of the Round.

Match of the Round: SD Raiders FC vs Newcastle Jets FC, Sunday 24 May, 2pm, Ernie Smith Reserve
SD Raiders FC host Newcastle Jets FC in a top-of-the-table clash at Ernie Smith Reserve on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts come into this game off a 1-1 draw against Blacktown Spartans FC on their home turf last weekend.
Youngster Markie Robinson came off the bench in the draw, and the attacker will be ready for a big performance after starring at the U16s Emerging Matildas tournament.
She will partner with Aoife Horgan and Abigail Boag up front to cut through the Jets defence in this clash.
It is a big week for SD Raiders FC, who have their Sapphire Cup quarter-final contest against League One alumni Hills United FC in a 2025 Grand Final rematch.
Newcastle Jets are freshened up for this titanic clash after having the bye for Round 12 of the Football NSW League One Women’s competition.
Aaliyah Kilroy has helped the Jets get off to a fast start, and she will be keen to add to their tally of six goals for the season.
Between the sticks, Ally Boertje has been fantastic this season, and the shot-stopper might need to make some big saves on Sunday.
The Jets sit one point behind SD Raiders FC before this game, and if they can collect three points it might push them towards the top.

St George FC vs Bankstown City Lions FC, Sunday 24 May, 4:30pm, Barton Park
St George FC take on Bankstown City Lions FC in a crucial clash at Barton Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Saints were beaten 5-0 by South Coast Flame FC in their travels to Kembla Grange last Sunday afternoon.
It has been a tough season for St George FC with form and injuries, but they have unveiled some good talent including Lily Stark, who has been elevated from the 23s.
St George FC will be keen to break their recent run and sing their team song on their home ground on Sunday night.
Bankstown City Lions FC won 2-0 against Blacktown City FC in their game at Landen Stadium last weekend.
Joey Lu broke the deadlock with a well-taken finish and shows that the Lions have plenty of talent across the park.
Their other scorer, Catherine Palamara, will be delighted to score her first goal and hopes it leads to plenty more tallies for the rest of the season.
Central Coast Mariners FC vs Blacktown City FC, Sunday 24 May, 5pm, Pluim Park
Central Coast Mariners FC welcome Blacktown City FC to Pluim Park for their game on Sunday afternoon.
The Mariners battled hard in their 3-2 loss to Inter Lions FC in Round 12’s nightcap last Sunday night.
Eliza Familton has been a big inclusion for the yellow-and-navy in recent weeks and her A-Leagues experience will be key in getting three points.
Alongside her, Zoe Daly has made an impact in her three games for the Mariners thus far in 2026 and is ready to fire again.
Blacktown City FC were beaten 2-0 in their game against Bankstown City Lions FC last weekend.
Kahtia Bedano has enjoyed a fine start to her career at Landen Stadium and will be part of the Blacktown City FC engine room on Sunday.
Behind her, Amy Harkin has been dependable with the gloves for Blacktown City FC and will be called upon on Sunday.
Sutherland Strikers FC vs Inter Lions FC, Sunday 24 May, 5pm, Harrie Dening Centre
Sutherland Strikers FC face off against Inter Lions FC at Harrie Dening Centre on Sunday afternoon.
The Strikers won 1-0 in a tight affair against Nepean FC in their travels to Jamison Park Field 1 last weekend.
Jasmine Maguire has tallied in back-to-back games and has led the line well for Guillermo Rubio’s side this season.
Alongside her, Eleonora Daga brings energy to the side and will keep the Inter Lions defence on their toes at Harrie Dening Centre.
Inter Lions FC had an impressive 3-2 win against Central Coast Mariners FC at home last weekend.
Hannah Charak brought the impact off the bench to score their third and gives Inter Lions more options up front.
The Lions have enjoyed a strong fortnight, and coach John Di Biase hopes this might be a springboard for them to roar up the ladder.
Camden Tigers FC vs South Coast Flame FC, Sunday 24 May, 5pm, Ron Dine Reserve

The Tigers were game in their 3-0 defeat against a rampant Marconi Stallions FC side in the Match of the Round.
Logan Garard led the way for the Tigers despite the defeat and she will look to open her account at home on Sunday.
Custodian Samantha Fulwood made some key saves in the game and is ready for another high-quality performance.
South Coast Flame FC were red hot in their 5-0 win against St George FC down at Sir Ian McLennan Oval.
Shaylee Meehan continues to rise up the goal-scoring charts after her hat-trick which saw her break 10 goals for the season.
In midfield, Molly Lawless started the romp and brings her experience and skill to a side chasing a maiden finals appearance.
Blacktown Spartans FC vs Marconi Stallions FC, Sunday 24 May, 7pm, Blacktown Football Park

The Spartans had a tight 1-1 draw against the league leaders SD Raiders FC at Ernie Smith Reserve last Sunday.
Captain Sheiden Jabour has been the metronome for the Spartans attack in recent weeks and provided the assist for their goal last weekend.
Defender Helena Daniele returned to the starting line-up in the draw and is primed for a big effort against her former side.
Marconi Stallions FC had a solid 3-0 win against Camden Tigers FC in the Match of the Round last weekend.
Hannah Voloder scored the pick of the goals in the result and has been in formidable form in recent weeks.
Coach Michael Beauchamp will be more pleased with the clean sheet after that game as it is what they built their finals appearance on last season.
