Foundation of Football bumper weekends at Valentine Sports Park
Football NSW is hosting a series of Foundation of Football courses at Valentine Sports Park, providing more opportunities for coaches to complete this practical, one-day program.
Foundation of Football is relevant to all coaches working with junior players. The course is designed to help participants create safe, enjoyable and engaging learning environments for their players.
Throughout the course, participants will explore how to:
- plan and organise effective training sessions
- deliver enjoyable and game-relevant activities
- support players to develop core football skills
- adapt practices to meet the needs of different players
Participants will also receive a ready-to-use 20-week training program designed to support the development of junior players’ core football skills.
Foundation of Football is also the prerequisite for coaches wishing to progress to the Football Australia/AFC C Diploma.
