Media Accreditation

Journalists, photographers, and broadcasters must apply for media accreditation in order to be granted access to Football NSW’s 2026 senior only fixtures.

Football NSW is now accepting applications for media accreditation ahead of the 2026 National Premier Leagues (NPL) NSW and Football NSW Leagues senior seasons.

This accreditation allows journalists, photographers, social content creators, and broadcasters to access Football NSW’s senior-only fixtures throughout the upcoming season.

Accredited Access Covers:

All NPL Men’s NSW and NPL Women’s NSW fixtures
All Football NSW League One and League Two fixtures (Men’s and Women’s), including finals
Australia Cup preliminary rounds (prior to the Round of 32)
Waratah Cup and Sapphire Cup fixtures
Additional Football NSW-hosted senior fixtures as advised

Accredited Access Does Not Include:

Hahn Australia Cup fixtures from the Round of 32 onwards
Any A-Leagues Men’s, Women’s, or Youth League fixtures
Any Technical Area within an NPL fixture
Any international matches

Application Details

Applicants must specify whether they are applying for Journalist or Photographer accreditation.

Applying does not guarantee accreditation. Only working media and/or the official media or photographer for NPL or Leagues clubs will be considered.

Due to limited media space, the number of accreditations per organisation will be capped.

Photographers must also provide a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) number when applying.

Successful applicants will receive their passes by mail prior to the start of the 2026 season.

Application deadline: Tuesday, 31 March 2026
Late applications will not be accepted.

Important Notes

This accreditation is only valid for senior NPL and Football NSW Leagues competitions. It does not apply to Youth Leagues or grassroots/association competitions.

Each NPL or Leagues club has a limited allocation of photographer accreditations — applicants must obtain final approval from their club delegate before submitting.

Accredited media passes will be distributed in the New Year.
