The Youth League Report (Super Youth League) Round 4

We were quite fortunate that only the Schofields Scorpions v Spirit FC and the Sydney Wanderers v Macarthur Rams fixtures were washed out on the weekend while the balance of the matches were all played.
With no matches being played next weekend, I will take the opportunity to look back on the season so far but do not expect any crystal ball gazing. 
Club Championship
PCYC Parramatta have extended their lead on this table to eight points after they bagged eight points at home to tenth placed Northern Tigers while Dulwich Hill have flown from fifth to second thanks to the nine points they took from the four games played against Southern NSW who have slipped back one place to ninth.
Central Coast Lightning made a spectacular rise from ninth to third after they bagged all fifteen points at home to eleventh placed Granville Rage and Blacktown Spartans went up four places to fourth when they pocketed eleven points from their trip to Western Panthers who have fallen back two places to fifth.
The washed out fixtures have meant that Schofields Scorpions have gone from fourth to seventh, Spirit FC slipped from sixth to eighth, Sydney Wanderers have remained at twelfth and Macarthur Rams have tumbled from third to sixth.
Grade 13
PCYC Parramatta have managed to cling onto the top spot on the table on goal difference after they suffered their first loss of the season, a 2-0 result at the hands of Northern Tigers who have rocketed from twelfth to eighth with their first three-pointer while Central Coast Lightning moved up one place to second with a 4-1 victory over Granville Rage who have fallen back one place to twelfth.
Schofields Scorpions slipped back to third when their clash with tenth placed Spirit FC was washed out and Blacktown Spartans climbed two places to fourth courtesy of their solid 4-0 result over Western Panthers who have fallen back one place to ninth.
Dulwich Hill went from seventh to fifth with a win by the odd goal in five over Southern NSW who took the reverse route from fifth to seventh while Macarthur Rams slipped back two places to sith when their match against eleventh placed Sydney Wanderers was washed out.
Grade 14
Unbeaten PCYC Parramatta are still at the top of the ladder after they dropped points for the first time this season thanks a 1-1 draw with Northern Tigers who have dropped back one position to third while Blacktown Spartans have grabbed second spot with a 2-1 victory over Western Panthers who have fallen back one place to eighth.
Southern NSW slipped from fourth to fifth following their 3-0 loss to Dulwich Hill who have climbed two positions to sixth while Central Coast Lightning scooted from sixth to fourth when they were 4-1 winners over eleventh placed Granville Rage.
Spirit FC fell back two places to seventh when their match against tenth placed Schofields Scorpions was washed out while Macarthur Rams and Sydney Wanderers have stayed at ninth and twelfth respectively after their game suffered the same fate.
Grade 15
PCYC Parramatta retained their undefeated record and move from second to the top spot when they were 4-2 winners over the previously unbeaten Northern Tigers who dropped from fifth to sixth. Meanwhile, Western Panthers fell back to second when they dropped points for the first time this season after tenth placed Blacktown Spartans held them to a scoreless draw.
Dulwich Hill zoomed from sixth to third when they produced a 3-0 victory over Southern NSW who have fallen back one place to fifth while Schofields Scorpions dropped from third to fourth when their match against twelfth placed Spirit FC was washed out.
Central Coast Lightning climbed two places to seventh when they were 4-0 winners over Granville Rage who have dropped from seventh to eighth. Macarthur Rams slipped back one place to ninth and Sydney Wanderers remained at eleventh when their encounter was washed out.
Grade 16
Blacktown Spartans soared from third to first with a 2-0 victory over Western Panthers who have dropped back one place to fifth while Macarthur Rams were forced back to second spot when they were washed out at seventh placed Sydney Wanderers.
Spirit FC went back one place to third after their clash with eleventh placed Schofields Scorpions was washed out and PCYC Parramatta moved up one place to fourth thanks to a 1-1 draw with Northern Tigers who have fallen from ninth to tenth.
Granville Rage remained at sixth despite their 3-0 loss to Central Coast Lightning who were posting their first win for the season, an outcome that helped them to rise from eleventh to eighth while Southern NSW moved up two places to tenth when they also registered their first three-pointer, a 2-1 result over Dulwich Hill who have fallen back one place to ninth.
Grade 18
Dulwich Hill remained two points clear at the top of the table even though their match against eleventh placed Southern NSW was not played and Schofields Scorpions stayed at second despite being washed out against Spirit FC who have dropped two places to sixth.
Northern Tigers managed to hold onto third position despite their 2-1 loss to tenth placed PCYC Parramatta who were collecting their first three-pointer for the season while Western Panthers jumped from fifth to fourth when they were held to a 2-2 draw by ninth placed Blacktown Spartans.
Central Coast Lightning rocketed from eighth to fifth when they were 4-0 winners over Granville Rage who have slipped back one place to eighth while Macarthur Rams dropped from sixth to seventh and Sydney Wanderers remained at twelfth when their match was washed out.
