Sutherland Sharks secure the signature of Paul Kohler

The 30-year-old who can play as a defender as well as a midfielder returns to the Sharks after he enjoyed a stint with the Shire squad in the 2007-2008 season.
The former Sydney Olympic, APIA Leichhardt Tigers, Bankstown City Lions and Newcastle Jets star has played 21 times for the Fury in the Hyundai A-League and will be looking at hopefully gaining another contract with the club but has insisted on staying fit thus playing in the NSW Premier League until a decision has been made on his playing career in Queensland.
Kohler will look towards making his debut with the Sharks in the Round 3 McDonald?s Cup clash against Super League outfit St George FC on Wednesday.
Meanwhile the club has appointed former Sutherland Sharks senior coach Vic Elull as its new Grade 20?s coach taking over Steve Karavatakis who was appointed as the head coach for the West Sydney Berries.
