Waratah Cup Quarter-Finals Review

It was high drama at Bonnyrigg Sports Centre as the former NSW Premier League side, Bankstown Berries, justly took out the match with three unanswered goals in the second via Liam McKenna, Kodjo Adjassou and Ante Deur to put them through to the semi-final of the famous cup.
At Marconi Stadium goals were on the menu but it was only for the one club as APIA Leichhardt Tigers dismantled arch rivals Marconi Stallions 5-0.
Former Stallions defender Adel El Jamal grabbed a brace as did Kiwi youth international Ethan Gailbraith while Korean import Mun-Soo Gil scored a screamer to cap of what was a memorable evening for the visitors.
Finally at Seymour Shaw Park, it took a late headed goal from promising young Sharks defender Hayden Morton which was all that separated them and Blacktown City FC in a 1-0 victory to the home side.
The Dapto Dandaloo Fury v Bankstown City FC match was postponed but has been scheduled to for Tuesday 12th June at Wetherall Park at 8pm in Primbee to conclude the Waratah Cup Quarter Finals.
