Gosford City FC has kicked off season 2016 with its six week AIA Vitality MiniRoos Kick Off Program for boys and girls aged 5 – 11.

AIA Vitality MiniRoos Programs are run at clubs around Australia and provide boys and girls with a fun introduction to the world game.

“It’s all about having fun, learning new skills and making life-long friends while playing in a team-based environment,” said Gosford City FC President Col Seggie.

With the vision to be the largest and most popular sport in Australia, Football Federation Australia (FFA) has launched AIA Vitality MiniRoos Kick-Off in 2015 as a key priority initiative to further grow participation in the game and convert participants to fans.

Gosford City FC President Col Seggie believes the program is the perfect chance to introduce kids to active sport.

“The AIA Vitality Miniroos Kick Off Program is another extension of our clubs commitment to providing opportunities for players and community members to be involved in our great club, regardless of age, gender, or ability,” Seggie said.

“We hope that the entry level boys and girls who participate in the program will transition to our Junior Dragons program, in which our club offers subsidised registration and free equipment to 5 and 6 year olds in order to make introducing kids to football more affordable for families,” Seggie said.
