The Junior Development Leagues (JDL) Coach Development Program course is for coaches working within Football NSW Junior Development Leagues (JDL) programs.

Course Outline

The course aims to develop a basic understanding of:

  • Why Children Play Football
  • Characteristics & Behaviours of Children
  • Supporting The Individual Within The Game & Practice
  • Game Day & Practice Communication For Children
  • Understanding Your Role & Purpose As A JDL Coach
  • Managing Behaviour Of Children Assessment Process

The Football NSW JDL Coach Development Program has no formal assessment Coaches will however need to engage throughout the course in both theory and practical modules Coaches will need to complete on course tasks as well as a pre course task.

Course Duration: 2 Days

Delivery Method: In-person theory & practical modules
