The Referees Development Panel is the recognition of outstanding branch referees. RDP is the training ground for referees to further develop their refereeing skills in order to progress to State Titles, National titles, into the National Talent Pool and eventually the Hyundai A-League.
Who can join RDP?
Referee Branches nominate their exceptional match officials for admission to the RDP. Contact your Branch if you’re interested in joining.
Session Times and Venues
- Carrs Park, Carrs Park 6:30 PM every Thursday.
- Potts Park, Bankstown 6:30 PM every Wednesday.
- Monthly Technical sessions at Valentine Sports Park.

What type of training takes place?
Physical training, coaching drills and technical session including Laws of the Game discussions, videos of match reviews.
Why is it important to keep training as a referee?
Players train to improve their skills, so to should referees. Learn from fellow referees, learn from Hyundai A-league referees and support each other.
