Accident Support Program
Cover is provided for injuries caused by active participation in officially ogranised games, official practice and training sessions, and official functions.
This program is part of the Football NSW Limited Risk Management and Player Protection Plan which is designed to supplement loss of income and non-Medicare expenses.
As Football NSW manages all insurance for footballers and members in the state, the following increased benefits to the Accident Support Program are effective from the following seasons:
Season 2007

Increased physiotherapy benefits from $300 to $350 per claim

Increased lodgment of period claim from 30 days to 60 days.
Season 2008
- Increased percentage recovery of medical accounts from 75% to 85%
All the above improvements have been achieved at no increased cost to players and members.
Football NSW has been able to hold the premium at the same rates for the past four years which has been a significant achievement during the time of inflation.
These improved benefits are as a direct result of Football NSW?s decision to partially self insure.
Football NSW will continue to work tirelessly towards providing an Accident Support Program that provides as much benefit as possible whilst maintaining premiums at an affordable level.
