Matthew Borg signs with Bankstown City
The 32-year-old attacker, who also played with the Fairfield Bulls in the Super League, has always had a knack of scoring goals.
In season 2003/2004, Borg won the Golden Boot award with Bankstown City after smashing in 20 goals for the season.
He then went on to become Bankstown?s top scorer in 2006 and Borg intends to do the same in 2008.
Having also had a stint in Malaysia playing for Johor FC, Borg has reunited with his former team-mates in the hope of winning the TeleChoice Premier League.
Player/Manager Peter Tsekenis has the luxury of a number of strikers at his disposal including new recruits James Monie from Manly United and Paul Harries from the Sutherland Sharks who has returned from injury.
