Macarthur Rams ready for new Kiwi stars
Both on short-term deals, the players will be available for the Rams? home clash against TeleChoice Premier League high flyers Manly United on Sunday 11th of May at the Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
Barbarouses has already been earmarked as a future Kiwi international and was in devastating form last year when he scored five goals in just three games for the New Zealand Under-17 team that qualified for the 2007 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Korea last August.
The 18-year-old striker will slot in nicely in Rams coach Paul Carter?s squad as Macarthur hope to knock in a few more goals with his presence up-front.
Meanwhile, Kiwi star Steven Old was part of the Phoenix squad last season but has since moved on.
The tough tackling defender will add more steel to the Rams? defence line for season 2008.
The 22-year-old, who also played for the Newcastle Jets, has already made his presence felt with the New Zealand National Squad having won twelve caps for the ?All Whites?.
