Division One Round 5 Review
The poor state of the grounds following incessant rain during the week disrupted half of the Division One matches of the weekend.

The Hills Brumbies-Stanmore Hawks, Sydney Wanderers-Mounties FC and Hurstville City Minotaurs-Dulwich Hill matches have all been postponed to a date and venue yet to be announced.
Spirit FC returned to winning ways on Saturday night with a 2-0 victory over Schofield Scorpions at the well-drained Christie Park.

After a scoreless first half, Papanicolaou grabbed the opener for the home side on 55 minutes, with Simpson closing off the match in injury time with his 91st minute goal, and putting the club top of the ladder on goal difference.
At Concord Oval on Sunday afternoon, Inter Lions showed their fighting character to come from behind on no less than three occasions against Blacktown Spartans, and grab a point in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Delaney put the Spartans ahead on 14 minutes, before Storey scored Inter?s first in the 20th minute. McPherson then put Blacktown ahead in the 25th minute with his 5th goal in as many games, sending them in at the break at 2-1 up.
Vizzari equalized in the 48th minutes, before Hubbard set up a grandstand finish with a goal in the 57th minute for the Spartans. Skufris made it 3-3 by grabbing Inter Lions final goal just 7 minutes out from full time, to send the fans home with their money?s worth of action.
In the only other match of the round, UNSW and Hurstville ZSC also shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw. Groth put UNSW in front on 65 minutes, before Kraljevic equalized for Hurstville just nine minutes later.
