Penrith Rovers receive royal treatment by Sydney FC

It was a gala atmosphere at the Rovers training fields at Cherrywood Oval.
The fields set up for various skill drills in which Nik joined in with the juniors to show them just how it?s done at A-League level.
Nik held a captive audience taking the kids through their paces while parents and club administrators watched on.
He was later joined by Sydney FC CEO Stefan Kamasz who mingled with parents, coaches and club administrators.
Following the training session, the Rovers juniors lined up for autographs and photos.
Players and visitors later enjoyed a ?Sausage Sizzle with the Stars? and settled in for a serious Question & Answer session with Nik & his CEO where they were both grilled by the kids asking questions ranging from, ?what do I have to do to get where you are?? to ?does Sydney FC have a Ladies team??
Both guests answered their inquisitors with candor and Nik especially, was able to provide the children with some great tips on achieving their best and reaching their goals.
The parting message from Stefan Kamasz after talking briefly about the coming season and what he hoped to achieve as the new CEO of SFC was, ?get behind your city?s team? inviting everyone to come out to Sydney Football Stadium and experience an A-League game at least once during the season.
It?s not often that we get to spend time with sporting heroes and I?m sure it?s a day that will stay in the memories of the young Rovers players for a long time to come.
