Super Youth League Round 10 Review

There were several result over the weekend that raised an eyebrow or two and that only strengthens the argument that it is still far too early to be sure of which teams will make it into the finals series. Rather than take a wild stab at it, we are better off watching and enjoying as it all unfolds.
The Club Championship
Bonnyrigg White Eagles have a lead of a slender three points at the top of the table after they took nine points from their home games against eleventh placed Sydney Wanderers while PCYC Parramatta jumped one place to be second following the ten points they earned from their visit to tenth placed Southern NSW.
Central Coast Lightning slipped back one place to third when they grabbed nine points from their trip to Granville Rage who went back two places to ninth and Schofields Scorpions remained at fourth despite picking up only one point from their home clash with Northern Tigers who used their thirteen points share to zoom from ninth to sixth.
Spirit FC flew up three places to fifth thanks to the twelve points they bagged at home to last placed St George and Western NSW Panthers dropped two places to seventh when they split the points at six apiece with Dulwich Hill who have slipped back from sixth to eighth.
Grade 13
Granville Rage took over at the top of the table when they produced a 2-1 win over Central Coast Lightning who have been relegated to second while PCYC Parramatta retained third place despite their 4-2 loss to Southern NSW who have moved up one position to fifth.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles are still placed fourth following their 2-1 success over Sydney Wanderers who have dropped two places to tenth and Western NSW Panthers fell out of the top five to sixth when they were held to a 1-1 draw by seventh placed Dulwich Hill.
St George jumped two places to eighth thanks to their 2-1 victory over last placed Spirit FC and Northern Tigers climbed from eleventh to ninth with a 2-1 success over Schofields Scorpions who took the reverse route back to where the Tigers had come from.
Grade 14
Bonnyrigg White Eagles remained undefeated and they now have a lead of seven points at the top of the table when they were 2-1 winners over tenth placed Sydney Wanderers while Schofields Scorpions are still second despite their 3-2 loss to third placed Northern Tigers.
PCYC Parramatta moved up one place to fourth with a 1-0 success over sixth placed Southern NSW and unbeaten Western NSW Panthers dropped back one position to fifth following their 1-1 draw with seventh placed Dulwich Hill.
Sixth placed Spirit FC were 1-0 winners over ninth placed St George and
Central Coast Lightning remained at eighth after they won 4-0 over eleventh placed Granville Rage.
Grade 15
Central Coast Lightning moved to the lead on the table when they had a 1-0 win over Granville Rage who dropped a place to eleventh while Bonnyrigg White Eagles slipped back to second when they went down 1-0 to Sydney Wanderers who jumped from eleventh to tenth.
Western NSW Panthers rocketed from fifth to third thanks to a 2-0 result over  Dulwich Hill who have dropped back one place to ninth and PCYC Parramatta fell back one spot to fourth after they played out a 1-1 draw with sixth placed Southern NSW.
Schofields Scorpions slipped from fourth to fifth following their scoreless draw with seventh placed Northern Tigers and Spirit FC advanced one place to eighth with a 4-2 win over last placed St George.
Grade 16
PCYC Parramatta have a lead of three points on the table following their 3-1 victory over Southern NSW who have slipped out of the top five to be placed sixth while Granville Rage remained at second thanks to their 1-0 win over tenth placed Central Coast Lightning.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles are still third and two points further back after they posted a 3-1 scoreline over Sydney Wanderers who slipped back a place to ninth and Dulwich Hill are a point away at fourth following their 2-0 victory over last placed Western NSW Panthers.
Spirit FC moved into fifth place thanks to a 3-0 win over eleventh placed St George and Schofields Scorpions remained at seventh even though they lost 3-1 to Northern Tigers who have climbed from ninth to eighth.
Grade 18
Unbeaten Central Coast Lightning have retained the number one spot on the table after they produced a 4-1 win over tenth placed Granville Rage while Spirit FC are nine points behind them in second place following their 1-0 result over last placed St George.
Western NSW Panthers held onto third place after they drew 1-1 with Dulwich Hill who dropped two places to sixth and Sydney Wanderers moved up one position to fourth thanks to a very solid 6-0 victory over Bonnyrigg White Eagles who slipped back two places to ninth.
Northern Tigers moved into fifth place when they were winners by the odd goal in five over eighth placed Schofields Scorpions and PCYC Parramatta moved up two places to seventh following their 1-0 success over eleventh placed Southern NSW.
