Whilst Blacktown Spartans picked up the easiest three points of the season when they beat Hills Brumbies courtesy of a forfeit, usually unheard of at this level.
The other match produced a 1-1 draw between Dulwich Hill and UNSW, Biviano putting Dully in front on 12 minutes before Dalenogari equalized for UNSW in the 62nd minute.
With Inter Lions not playing, Spirit FC extended their lead at the top of the ladder to seven points when they trounced Hurstville ZFC 5-0 at Hurstville Oval.
But they left it to the second period to do the damage, scoring all five goals in a dominant half of football. Cunningham put Spirit in front on 51 minutes, before Littlebury grabbed a brace of goals in the 64th and 67th minutes. Roberts(85th) and Orgad(87th) rounded off the scoring for the league leaders.
Stanmore Hawks bounced back from last week?s loss to Sydney Wanderers with a thumping 5-1 victory over Schofields Scorpions at Pratten Park.
Leading goalscorer Chavez grabbed a hatrick with goals in the 21st, 62nd and 73rd minutes, whilst Yildiz (27th) and Gibson (76th) also got on the scoresheet for the Hawks.
Cevenini scored the lone goal for the Scorpions in the 52nd minute.
In the day?s final match, Hurstville City Minotaurs and Sydney Wanderers played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. The Wanderers went two up with goals by Soane (30th) and Dwyer (51st), but Di Mento and Morhi restored parity for the Minotaurs by scoring in the 56th and 64th minutes respectively.
A couple of real crackers highlight next weekend?s round of matches, with Spirit-Stanmore Hawks at Christie Park at 3pm on Sunday the pick of the bunch, whilst  Inter Lions will be looking for revenge as they entertain fifth-placed Dulwich Hill at Concord Oval at the same time on Sunday.
