Football NSW is proud to announce a new two-year partnership with Carbiz, Australia’s leading replacement car provider, in a significant boost for futsal across the state.

Under the agreement, Football NSW’s premier futsal competitions will now be known as the Carbiz Futsal Premier League and the Carbiz Futsal Premier League 2, reflecting a shared commitment to growth, accessibility and community engagement within the sport.

The partnership marks an exciting new chapter for futsal in New South Wales, with Carbiz joining Football NSW as a key partner in the continued development of elite and emerging futsal talent.

Football NSW CEO John Tsatsimas welcomed the partnership, highlighting its importance for the continued growth of futsal in the state.

“This is a fantastic partnership for Football NSW and for futsal in our state,” Tsatsimas said.
“Carbiz is a brand built on service, resilience and community values, which strongly aligns with our own vision for football and futsal in New South Wales. Their support will help us continue to grow opportunities for players, clubs and communities across both competitions.”

Carbiz CEO Alex Rodov said the partnership reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to community sport and supporting Australians in meaningful ways.

“At Carbiz, we’ve always believed that strong communities are built through connection, opportunity and teamwork. Sport plays a vital role in bringing people together, and futsal is one of the fastest growing and most exciting forms of the game,” Rodov said.

“What attracted us to Football NSW was their commitment to developing players at every level, from grassroots participants through to elite competitors. As a proudly Australian owned business, we’re excited to support a competition that creates opportunities for young athletes, strengthens local communities and inspires the next generation.”

Carbiz began in 2016 as a small second-hand car dealership operating out of a converted garage. In 2017, after assisting a friend who needed a replacement car following a not-at-fault accident, the business identified a gap in the automotive insurance industry, leading to the creation of Carbiz.

Today, Carbiz operates more than 12 branches, employs over 200 staff, and has established 500 partnerships nationwide, continuing to set the standard in replacement car services across Australia.

The Carbiz Futsal Premier League and Carbiz Futsal Premier League 2 will continue to showcase some of the state’s best futsal talent, while providing pathways for emerging players and strengthening the futsal ecosystem across New South Wales.

The 2026 season for both leagues commences on Saturday 12th September 2026 with both competition finals set to take shape at ‘The Centre’, Dural in what promises to be one of the best season’s yet for the sport.
