Division One Youth League Round 14 Review
Still, nerves can play a part and that has been shown in some of the results this week. There are still a number of catch-up games to be played and they will have a bearing on the final composition of b the top five in each age group.
The Club Championship
Blacktown Spartans are eighteen points clear at the top of the table after they pocketed twelve points from their clash with last placed Hills United while second placed Camden Tigers could only manage to take three points from their trip to seventh placed Sydney University.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are only one point behind the Tigers at third after they split the points at seven apiece with eighth placed Hakoah and Mt Druitt Town Rangers are fourth after they earned eight points from their journey to fifth placed Fraser Park.
Hurstville City Minotaurs are sixth following their haul of eleven points at tenth placed Springwood and Rockdale City Suns are tenth after they gained eight points from their visit to eleventh placed Stanmore Hawks.
Grade 13
Gladesville Ryde Magic are three points clear at the top of the table following their 1-0 success over sixth placed Hakoah who are two points outside the top five while Blacktown Spartans are in second spot after they produced a solid 6-1 victory over tenth placed Hills United.
Camden Tigers are two points further back at third after they went down 3-1 to fourth placed Sydney University who are four points behind the Tigers and Fraser Park are two points behind Uni at fifth following their 2-2 draw with ninth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers.
Springwood are in seventh position after they played out a scoreless draw with eighth placed Hurstville City Minotaurs while Rockdale City Suns and Stanmore Hawks played out a 1-1 draw to remain at eleventh and twelfth respectively.
Grade 14
Camden Tigers have a lead of a single point at the top of the table following their 2-0 win over seventh placed Sydney University while Hurstville City Minotaurs are second after they were 2-0 winners over ninth placed Springwood.
Blacktown Spartans are placed third despite their 1-0 loss to eighth placed Hills United and Fraser Park are fourth after they went down 1-0 to fifth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers.
Gladesville Ryde Magic are sixth and one point outside the top five after they suffered a shock 4-0 loss to last placed Hakoah who were having their first win for the season. Rockdale City Suns moved up one place to tenth thanks to their very strong 7-1 win over Stanmore Hawks who are now eleventh.
Grade 15
Blacktown Spartans are the competition leaders by seven points after they produced a very impressive 8-1 victory over tenth placed Hills United while second placed Hurstville City Minotaurs were 2-1 winners over eighth placed Springwood.
Fraser Park are placed third even though they were beaten 1-0 by fifth placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers and Camden Tigers are fourth after they lost 2-0 to seventh placed Sydney University.
Hakoah are three points outside the top five at sixth following their scoreless draw with ninth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic and eleventh placed Rockdale City Suns were 2-0 victors over last placed Stanmore Hawks.
Grade 16
Mt Druitt Town Rangers are the competition leaders and two points ahead even after they lost 3-0 to fourth placed Fraser Park while second placed Stanmore Hawks were 1-0 winners over fifth placed Rockdale City Suns.
Hurstville City Minotaurs are in third position following their 2-1 success over tenth placed Springwood and Blacktown Spartans are sixth and outside the top five by a single point after they produced a 4-1 win over last placed Hills United.
Sydney University are one point further back at seventh after their 2-0 win over eleventh placed Camden Tigers and Hakoah are eight following their 1-0 result over ninth placed Gladesville Ryde Magic.
Grade 18
Gladesville Ryde Magic have a lead of six points at the head of the table after they were 6-1 winners over tenth placed Hakoah while second placed Mt Druitt Town Rangers played out a 2-2 draw with sixth placed Fraser Park who are eight points outside the top five.
Third placed Camden Tigers suffered a 1-0 loss to Sydney University who are fifth and Blacktown Spartans are fourth following their 2-1 victory over eighth placed Hills United.
Rockdale City Suns are seventh after they were held to a 1-1 draw by ninth placed Stanmore Hawks while Hurstville City Minotaurs and Springwood have remained at eleventh and twelfth respectively after they match ended at 1-1.
