Sydney FC begins build up for Illawarra outing
Tickets for FC?s first Cup clash in Campbelltown are selling well, and since Monday football fans in the Illawarra have had the chance to get a slice of the action.
Seats for the August 2 game between Sydney FC and Wellington at WIN Stadium are now available to the general public, and last Thursday three of Sydney?s stars traveled to Wollongong to kick-off the count-down to the match.
Local products, Jacob Timpano and Brendon Santalab, together with Alex Brosque got an early look at the pitch, and they were impressed with what they saw.
WIN Stadium has been a happy hunting ground for Brosque in the past, with the midfielder scoring a double against Perth when Wollongong hosted a Pre-Season clash in 2006.
?Hopefully this time I can go one better and come away with a hat-trick,? Brosque said after inspecting the near perfect playing surface.
Tickets for the Sydney v Phoenix match can be purchased from Ticketek or the venue.
