Kristian Griffiths-Jones to visit the UK

The whistleblower will also take a study tour of the Premier Group Match Officials Limited (PGMOL).
The PGMOL controls, selects, trains and appoints the match officials that are seen each week in the English Premier League (EPL).
While in the UK, Kristian will travel to the PGMOL headquarters and participate in daily training alongside the likes of Mike Reilly as well as attending seminars with the PGMOL officials in the afternoon and evening. He will essentially live on site with the referees during one of their two weekly seminars. The FA have offered unlimited access to their programs and facilities as well as including Kristian in every aspect of the EPL program during his stay.
Griffiths-Jones will also officiate at matches in his own right while being coached and assessed by the EPL coaching team.
This trip is part of Kristian?s professional development being undertaken under his Australian Sports Commission Scholarship and has been made possible by the personal relationships developed by the current State Coach Steve Fenech with the English FA and the Premier League.
He will also visit the home of Prozone the company who provide The FA with many of its innovative new technological advances that we see on a weekly basis and that are used to critically assess each official.
Football NSW wishes to acknowledge and congratulate Kristian on this fantastic opportunity.
