2009 World Masters Games

Outline of Event
The Games are a multi-sport event with participants competing from around the globe. The criteria for this event is based on age with two components: A ? Premier and B ? Competitive.
The 2009 World Masters Games are expecting approximately 25,000 competitors in 9 days of action and up to 6,000 volunteers across all 28 sports.
?Masters” is simply an age designation; it does not denote a level of proficiency or a particular achievement. To compete, all you need to do is to satisfy the minimum age criteria which is 30 years of age.

Volunteers Wanted
Football NSW is calling upon interested persons to apply for a number of available volunteer positions with regards to the World Masters Games in 2009.
Attached is the ?Volunteer Expression of Interest Form? and the ?Football NSW Volunteer Role Descriptions?. To apply for one or more of the positions, applicants are required to complete the Volunteer Expression of Interest Form and also include a brief cover letter and resume. Ideally, the cover letter and resume will outline the applicant?s previous experience in a similar role, however, individuals with minimal experience are still encouraged to apply.
Please note applications close on the 30th September 2008.
