W-League is coming

Eight teams will contest the competition, with all Australian Hyundai A-League clubs participating, with the newly formed Canberra United the eighth team.
The competition will be held between October 25th 2008 and January 17th 2009. Home and away rounds to be played in 2008 until December 27th, with the ?playoff? series in early January 2009.
Football NSW, in conjuction with NSWIS, Sydney FC and the Central Coast Mariners, will be participating in the ground breaking inaugral season of the Westfield’s W-League.
