MBF Champion of Champions finals at Valentine Sports Park

These finals are the climax of the Football NSW Community Football season and the eighteen finals to be staged will attract large numbers of spectators and players all hoping for their ultimate prize, Champion of Champions.
Southern Districts have narrowly grabbed the honor of the highest number of teams participating with seven, while Illawarra have excelled with five teams competing, three of those teams from the Figtree Club, which is a magnificent achievement for a club outside the metropolitan area of Sydney. Granville and Central Coast each have four teams in the Finals whilst other Associations represented include Manly-Warringah, Ku Ring Gai, Gladesville-Hornsby, Canterbury, Eastern Suburbs, Nepean and Sutherland.
Only one representative from the Country has battled their way through to the Finals and that team is the very proud Cootamundra Strikers All Age Ladies team from the Wagga Wagga Branch who will do battle with Ourimbah United All Age Ladies.
Hurlstone Park, Northbridge, Sydney Juniors and Smithfield RSL are both represented by two teams whilst the inaugural Over 45 Men?s competition will be battled out by representative teams from Southern Districts and St George.
Hurlstone Park Grade 21 team is attempting to win their first Champion Of Champions title to go with their success over the past few years winning seven straight Minor Premierships & six straight Premierships, the team also won the Sydney International Youth Friendship Games in 2005,
The day;s proceedings will commence at 8.30am and the last match will kick off at 5.30pm.
Parking is always at a premium, due to the large crowds on the day and everyone is urged to take this into consideration and arrange early arrival to ensure nothing is missed on this very important day.
Valentine Sports Park is an alcohol free venue and NO ALCOHOL will be permitted in any are of the complex at any time during the MBF Champion of Champions Finals.
