Changing of the guard at Macarthur District Soccer Football Association

Glenn Armstrong has been appointed the new CEO at the Macarthur District Soccer Football Association.

Armstrong was the successful applicant amongst 33 applications received by the Macarthur District Soccer Football Association.

Glenn Armstrong?s extensive experience and knowledge of local competition structures and the district football community will be a vital asset in assisting the board of Macarthur District Soccer Football Association.

Armstrong will play a vital role in the development and future vision which is established by the directors of the Association.

In addition to Glenn Armstrong, the Macarthur District Soccer Football Association has decided to strengthen its administrative structure and has appointed well known football identity, Ross Anderson, to the new role as Competition Manager.

Football NSW would like to acknowledge the important role played by Bill Kostandas during his tenure as CEO at the Macarthur District Soccer Football Association and wishes him every success in his new role.

Bill was appointed in 2007 to oversee the functioning of the two branches of Macarthur Soccer; the local club competition and the Macarthur Rams. In that time, Kostandas managed to forge strong connections with Football NSW, the three local councils and various local businesses and dignitaries that have generally promoted the profile of soccer within Macarthur.

He has also offered support to the local competition by beginning the process of restructuring the registration process and overall structure of the organisation processes within Macarthur.

Football NSW welcomes Glenn Armstrong and Ross Anderson to their new roles and wishes them every success in building upon the foundation set down by Bill Kostandas and the board of the Macarthur District Soccer Football Association.
