Football NSW State Titles 2009
Dear Coach,
The Football NSW State Titles are our premier elite player pathway which underpins identification for all 12 State Teams conducted by FNSW.
Throughout NSW, associations are arranged into 9 key Regions from which elite players are selected to represent their Region in an annual tournament held at different venues throughout country NSW.  Players from State Titles who are identified by FNSW instructors/selectors are then invited into both development programs as well as state team selection camps.
The tournament is extremely important for the best players as FNSW will be identifying and selecting scholarships positions in the 11-16 age categories.  This will enable sixteen (16) of the best players in each age group to receive the best coaching for free at FNSW.  This is a huge step forward for the development of identified players and will allow the best of the best to develop in an environment that will positively affect performance.
FNSW are calling for expressions of interest from coaches who are interested in coaching one of our elite State titles teams.  Attached with this letter is an Expression of Interest form which coaches will need to complete and submit to FNSW by the 15 March 2009.  It should be noted that selection will be conducted by FNSW in consultation with each representative Region.
Coaches will undergo comprehensive coach education prior to the tournament and a high performance manual will be made available to each coach for the purposes of recording and reporting player?s progress.  It should be noted that each team will only train 4 sessions prior to the tournament and coaches are required to be available for the five days of the tournament as well as travel to the venues for competition.
When completing the form you should indicate your preference for the region and age group that you wish to coach.  You should also indicate any other preferences which FNSW may consider if you are unsuccessful with your first preference.  Coaches should also attach a personal coaching CV with the Expression of Interest form. Please do not hesitate to contact FNSW for any other information concerning this matter.
Coaches who perform well at state titles will be identified by FNSW as Assistant Coaches for State Teams in the following year.  Good luck and we look forward to working with you in 2009.
Yours in Football
