Dreams of a future as a Socceroo

The 12-year-old from Windsor Downs was selected to represent Football NSW in the under-12 development tour to Spain, Portugal and France last October.
With Chelsea player Frank Lampard as a role model, Aaron was given the chance to visit and play seven games against international clubs and federations.
FC Porto, Boavista, Celta Vigo, Deportivo La Coruna, Real Sociadead and Clairefontaine were all on the itinerary.
?It was really good because we played against all the different qualities of teams from Europe,? Aaron said.
?Chelsea in Europe is a big team for me. The ground was unbelievable.
?Sometimes you?re nervous (in a big match), but basically you just put that behind you and play football.?
The Football NSW trip to Europe included tours of the stadiums and facilities, and training sessions with coaches.
The young players also had the opportunity to watch professional games.
Aaron currently plays for the Blacktown Spartans in the Super Youth League and the Northern Tigers Super League futsal team.
He dreams of representing Australia in the World Cup.
?It would be really exciting playing against all the different teams from Brazil and Chile and all that,? he said.
?I would like to go as far as I can take it, playing professional and also try to play for Australia.
?I play left midfield and left striker. It?s a lot of fun scoring goals.?
