Sydney Olympic Assistant coach Ivan Zelic will also be playing in 2009.
Michael Turnbull is a 28 year old keeper who has played with Marconi for 5 years in the NSL, Standard Liege in Belgium, New Zealand Knights in the A League and VPL sides Kingston City and Oakleigh Cannons.
Turnbull will be fighting Sam Emmanouil for the first grade goalkeeping spot.
Olympic have also agreed to terms with former Blacktown & Sydney FC player Adam Biddle.
Meanwhile, assistant coach Ivan Zelic has formally registered as a player for the team as well as being assistant to Aytek Genc.
Bo Hyun (Kenny) Chun and Jordan Simpson were signed very recently.
Rising star Kenny has been frequently used by coach Aytek Genc in the trial games here in Sydney and also in last month’s Hellenic Cup in Brisbane.
The midfielder has also taken most of the corner kicks for the team thus far and is expected to work his ball-skills alongside the many talented team-mates around him.
Former A-League star Jordan Simpson joins Sydney Olympic after playing last season with Blacktown Demons and more recently trialing overseas for a Korean K-League outfit. He will add more depth and height to the blues strike force.
