Prospect coach Brian Vella will be looking to secure three points as his side escaped defeat in Round 2 against Hakoah; the side coming back from two goals down. Bathurst will have to be aware of the home-side?s attacking abilities after the side suffered a 4-0 defeat away to Gladesville in Round 2.
Springwood will host Hakoah on Saturday Night at Summerhayes Park with kick-off set for 7.30 PM. The home side struggled in their first game of the season losing 4-2 to Roosters FC, meanwhile Hakoah will be relying on captain John Pillemener, who is in sensational form, to try and secure maximum points on the night.
Hurstville City will entertain Penang FC when they meet at Belmore Sports Ground on Sunday at 3.00 PM. Penang FC will be looking for the first win of the season after their first round defeat to Prospect United. Both sides didn?t play in Round two due to washed out conditions, as Hurstville picked up a draw against Gladesville at home in Round 1 so they will be confident going into Sundays clash.
Gladesville Ryde and Roosters FC clash on Sunday at Magdala Park 3.00 PM, both sides are in good form. Gladesville remains undefeated in the first two rounds of the competition which included a 4-0 drumming against Bathurst 75 at home in Round 2. Roosters FC, who didn?t play their round two game due to poor weather conditions, will still be a dangerous outfit after they picked up a solid 4-2 away win against Springwood in Round 1.
White City and Colo Colo Wanderers will square off at Bonnyrigg Sports Club on Sunday at 3.00 PM.  The home-side will have to offer a better performance to the one that saw them lose 3-1 to Fairfield Bulls at home in Round 1. Colo Colo secured a point in the opening Round after a goalless draw away to Sydney Cedars; the team will be looking to secure another good result away from home.
Fairfield Bulls have been in good form even though they didn?t compete in Round 2 due to washed out matches, and one can only assume they will get better after their 3-1 drumming of White City in Round 1. Michael Mammo?s side will be confident when they host Gazy Lansvale who played a scoreless draw away to Camden tigers in Round one. The away side will have to bring their best side if they want to secure a good result.
Sydney Cedars will host Luddenham United on Sunday 3.00 PM at Punchbowl Oval. Luddenham United suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Hawkesbury City and will be looking to make an impact away from home. Sydney Cedars will want maximum points in-front of their home crowd after their goalless draw in Round 1.
Camden Tigers will entertain in-form Hawkesbury City on Sunday at 3.00 pm at Ron Dine Reserve. Hawkesbury are on a high after taking three points away from home in Round 1 and will be hoping that can sustain their form in this important clash. Camden who picked up a draw in the opening Round will want to impress their home fans in the hope of securing maximum points from the encounter.
