The home side will be hoping they can pick up their first win of the season after a disappointing start to the campaign so far in 2009. Prospect United are hopeful they can perform as well as they did last week in their 4-3 loss to Gladesville. They might have suffered their first defeat last week at home but United Coach Brian Vella will be confident going into this Saturdays clash with the side playing some top notch football.
Hurstville will be looking to continue their great start to the season when they entertain Bathurst 75 at Belmore Sports Ground this Sunday. The home side came from two goals down away to Hakoah and will be carrying confidence coming into this encounter. Bathurst will be fired up this weekend after they defeated Springwood 2-1 at home in the later stages of the game. Bathurst however is coming up against a tough side this week, one which has already caused a few surprises in 2009.
Gladesville Ryde Magic will be looking to continue their dominating season when they host Penang Fc on Sunday at Magdala Park. The home side picked up a crucial three points against Prospect last Saturday and they will be looking to continue their good run this Sunday. Penang Fc season has started well with the side struggling to pick up a win this season. Tony Gallagher is confident is side can bounce back from last weeks lost to the Roosters but his going to have to weary about the likes of Gladesville attacking pair Kabara and Gatt come this Sunday.
Roosters Fc and Hakoah will battle it out on Sunday at Mona Park and it should be an exciting battle. The home side who gave a 4-0 drumming against Penang Fc last week will be hoping to eliminate their opponent with the same approach. Hakoah have been somewhat disappointing with the side struggling to hold a solid lead throughout their games. But with the likes of John Pillemener inform player for 2009 the side can always pose a threat to their opposition.
White City will be high on confidence after picking up their first win last week at Benson Lane Field against inform Hawkesbury. However their opponents Luddenham United will be trying to turn around last week after a 2-0 loss to Camden at home last Sunday. Andrew Montgomery will be hoping to have his players fit and ready in what should pose as an excellent encounter this Sunday.
Fairfield Bulls will host Colo Colo this Sunday at Hajduk Stadium, the home side wanting to turn around their 3-1 loss against Sydney Cedars last week. Colo Colo will be hoping they can take something away from home after the side scored a late winner against Gazy Lansvale last week to take all three points. The away side will be high on confidence, but the Bulls side is dangerous when entertaining sides at home.
Camden Tigers and Sydney Cedars will square off this Sunday at Ron Dine Reserve, both sides coming off good wins last week should be the catalysts for a thrilling match this Sunday. Camden will have the home advantage in their favour but after Sydney Cedars defeating the high flying Fairfield Bulls last week they will be keen on continuing their sensational form. 
Gazy Lansvale will be competing against Hawkesbury on Sunday at Cherrybrook Park. The home side suffered a late loss last week to Colo Colo and will be hoping they can pick up the loose ends and take maximum points. Hawkesbury are a dangerous side in 2009 even though they lost to White City 1-0 at home last week, they will still bring a side capable of beating any team in 2009.
