One of the many highlights of his career is playing for Vardar (Yugoslav first division) playing over 200 games before migrating to Australia where he played for Preston Lions, Sydney United and Blacktown City over a span of 7 years.
During that time he also represented Australia on 21 occasions. He acquired his coaching accreditation, including a coaching diploma in Belgrade, one of Europe’s best coaching schools.
He worked as an assistant coach at various clubs before taking on the roll as coach of Vardar Skopje. From there he coached Macedonia’s under 16, 19 and 21 teams where he discovered and recruited a young player that would go on to be regarded as one of nation?s best players (Goran Pandev) currently playing for Lazio. 
Rockdale City Suns is just as excited about the other senior coaching appointments for the 2010 season which are, first grade coach Mile Todoroski, Mile’s coaching history speaks for itself with recent achievements such as winning the minor premiership with Rockdale City Suns in 2009 and at the same time for the second year in a row accepting the NSW State League first grade coach of the year.
Michael Grbevski has been appointed as the under 18’s coach, Michael like Zarko has represented Australia in senior football and in 2007 coached Rockdale City Suns First Grade in the NSW State League finishing fourth that year.
Danny Abboud has been appointed as Coaching Director for the Youth League, Danny has many years of experience as a coaching director with previous clubs in the NSW Premier League and is also part of the Football NSW educational coaching programme.
