The MUPC gives talented U/15s the chance to show off their skills and come up against other young footballers from around the globe. They get to play on an international stage and meet and compete with the best of their class.

The MUPC gives Europe first glance at some of the world?s most promising footballing talent at U/15 level, with the likes of Robinho (Santos ? 1999), Carlos Tevez (Boca Juniors ? 1999, MVP & Top Scorer), Fernando Torres (Atletico de Madrid ? 1999, MVP), Cesc Fabregas (FC Barcelona ? 2002), Rafael & Fabio Da Silva (Fluminense, 2005) and Andres Iniesta (FC Barcelona, 1999); plus many more, all participating in the tournament in previous years.

Football NSW has issued invitations to the twelve (12) NSW Premier League Clubs and top four (4) Super Youth League Clubs; based on the 2009 U/14 Super Youth League standings.

Qualifiers at this stage have been confirmed to take place at Valentine Sports Park on February 19th, 20th and 21st.

The side which successfully negotiates its way through this qualification round will be invited to attend the Australian play-offs held in Melbourne, April 2010.

The winner of the Australian play-off will then be pitted against the best team from New Zealand for the Oceania Championship and the opportunity to participate in the finals of the Nike Manchester United Premier Cup to be held in England.

Last year?s Australian representative Marconi Stallions were pitted against AC Thonburi, Colo Colo, AS Roma and Atletico de Madrid.
