Rockdale City Suns ready for baptism of fire in NSW Premier League

Playing its home matches at the newly built facility at Bicentennial Park in Rockdale, the Suns are slowly putting together its squad for the new year as the team battles through a gruelling pre-season campaign.
Favourite son and club captain Peter Apolevski will once again lead the squad with the likes of experienced defender Paul Dee, former PCYC Parramatta Eagles star George Lagoudakis, ex-Bankstown City midfielder Ian King, former Sydney Tigers midfielder Marino Musumeci, former Penrith Nepean United defender Mark Bariamis, ex-Bossy Liverpool player Jeffrey Issa and ex-Newcastle Jets keeper Ben McNamara will be some of the names Rockdale will feature in their team for 2010.
The club is still yet to finalise its squad with a couple more new faces set to join the fold very soon.
Rockdale City Suns? first outing will be against 2009 NSW Premier League Premiers Sydney United on the 28th of February while the club?s first match at home will be against Bankstown City on the 7th of March.
