Top placed Commodores booked their place in the Grand final with a comprehensive 9-2 hammering of Sydney Benfica. Ritchie Darko shone for the Hawkesbury based side with 5 splendid goals. Benfica now take on the Inner West Allstars whom they have already beaten twice this season for a right for a re match with Hawkesbury.
The Allstars won a hard fought encounter against Sydney City 7-3 in extra time after the score read 3 all after normal time. A deserved victory for the Allstars sees them hoping 3rd time is their lucky charm and see them to a Grand final appearance.
Should be a great match with some great individual talent on show.

Minor Premiers Campbelltown Quake booked their Grandfinal place with a narrow 2-1 victory over the Western Raiders.
The Raiders now take on a very drilled Dural Warrior side who comprehensively beat Inner West Allstars 4-0. Led by Hayley Evans the Warriors will be tough to beat. Both teams have beaten each other during the regular season so this one could go either way.

The 3rd consecutive Premiers to go directly through to the final, the Inner West Allstars booked their clubs first Grand final appearance with a solid 4-0 victory over Western Raiders. The Raiders somewhat unlucky now take on the Sydney City Eagles who caused an upset in the other semi defeating the Mascot Vipers 6-4 behind a brilliant individual performance by Peter Makrillos.

Run a way competition winners the Inner West Allstars need the lottery of the Penalty shoot out to overcome a very good Mascot Vipers side after the game ended 3-3 in normal time. A game which no team deserved to lose the Vipers must be favourites against a Sydney City side who accounted for Campelltown Quake 3-0.
The Eagles led my Melissa Caceras are no easy beats and will be there next week if the Vipers take them lightly.

The Allstars and Quake have had some titanic clashes this season and this one wasn?t any different. Quake responded early to the week befores defeat which cost them the Premiership, taking a 2 goal lead. But the Allstars are too good and too experienced to be written off even at 2 goals down and fought back to win 3-2 to book their Grand final position. The Quake side now must get through a very dangerous Mascot Vipers side who beat the Hawkesbury Commodores for a re match against the Allstars in 2 weeks.

Premiers the Inner West Allstars exacted revenge on the Mascot Vipers for their defeat in round 12 by beating them 4-2 to book their place in the Grandfinal at Dural in 2 weeks time. The Vipers now come up against a Benfica side who caused the upset of the semis so far by beating  a quake side who finished 8 points above them during the regular season.
Doris Osman will be key for the Vipers if they are to play in 2 weeks whilst Sherel Alpkaya will need to hold tough in the Benfica defensive line to give the Benfica side any chance.
Youth Men
Like predicted the Allstar and Benfica clash had everything. A testament to the quality of the 2 sides.
The Allstars took a decisive 3-0 lead and looked as if they would run away with it, but Benfica are not a side to sit on their laurels and came out all guns blazing to reduce the deficient to 3-2 but the Allstars defence held firm to see themselves through to the Grand final where they will have to do without Shervin Adeli who suffered a broken ankle in this clash.
Benfica will now play a Dural side spearheaded by stars Rhys Giovenale and Elliot Ragomo after they knocked out Mascot Vipers 4-2 where Ragomo alone scored a hat trick of goals.

Open Womens
The Young beat the Old in the clash of 1 vs 2 in the Open womens competition where the young girls from Campbelltown beat the experienced Sydney City side to book their ticket to the grandfinal. The Eagles next take on long time rivals the Inner West Allstars after they accounted for the Mascot Vipers in a repeat of last seasons Grand final.
The Allstars led by Natalie Spirovski will hope 3rd times a lucky charm as the Eagles have beaten the Allstars twice throughout the regular season.
2 teams that know each other inside out, should be another classic.

Open Mens – Grand Final
In what was a pulsating game the Campelltown City Quake side booked their 4th consecutive Grand final appearance after a nail biting, end to end classic in which they triumphed 2-1 in extra time against a very gallant Sydney City side.
A Dean Lockhart special in the final 2 minutes cemented their place against Premiers the Inner West Allstars.
The Allstars and Quake have played out some classic encounters this seasons which include a 2 all draw in the final round game which sealed the Allstars the Premiership and the Major semi final which ended in an Allstar penalty shootout victory.
The best 2 teams in the competition go head to head in what should be a dream final.
Being played at 7.30pm this coming Friday evening at Homebush Sports Halls, no futsal enthusiast should miss this one.
