Take The Whistle: Become A Futsal Referee This Summer
With the Carbiz Futsal Premier Leagues season rapidly approaching, the final introductory referee courses ahead of the new season are taking place over the next few weeks.
Futsal is a fast-paced and exciting version of the game, with the NSW competition taking place during the summer months and providing a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to get involved in football in a different way.
Becoming a referee is a great way to stay connected to the game, improve your fitness, develop valuable leadership and communication skills, and earn some extra income along the way.
For existing match officials who want to continue refereeing during the outdoor off-season, futsal also provides the perfect opportunity to stay sharp and develop important aspects of refereeing, including foul identification, positioning, decision-making and player management.
Whether you are completely new to refereeing or an experienced match official looking to expand your skill set, futsal offers a pathway to stay involved in the game and continue developing your refereeing career.
With the Carbiz Futsal Premier Leagues season just around the corner, now is the perfect time to take the whistle and get involved.
