Thirteen NSW Boys selected in Australian Under 13 training camp

Juric, along with an FFA Technical Committee, selected the players at the 2010 FFA National Junior Championships for Boys which was held last week in Canberra.
Juric, who coached the Qantas Australian Under 13 Boys National Team at last year?s AFC Festival of Football, was again impressed by the quality of players being produced by the State and Territory representative teams.
?This year there were more technically gifted, and also tactically more aware, players than in the past,? said Juric.
?This selection camp will be different to last year in that all the players are very familiar with the 1-4-3-3 style that has been implemented as part of the National Football Curriculum, so rather than teach the style, we will be focussing on selecting the best twenty two (22) players.
?Having been to the AFC Festival of Football last year, the opportunity for players to be selected and participate in such a great event will be fantastic and the experience gained and at such a young age very beneficial for their development? concluded Juric.
Following the selection camp a squad of twenty two (22) players will be named to represent Australia at the upcoming AFC Under 13 Boys Festival of Football.
The AFC Under 13 Boys Festival of Football is scheduled to be held in Sabah, Malaysia from the 24th May to 6th June 2010.
