Overview
Marconi Stallions would have enjoyed earning twelve points from their visit to Manly United and Sutherland Sharks must have been delighted to go home from Blacktown City with eight points.
Sydney Olympic bagged ten points at home to South Coast Wolves and Sydney United nicked nine points from their trip to Bankstown City.
Rockdale City Suns had had their best day of the season when they pocketed nine points at home to Bonnyrigg White Eagles and APIA Leichhardt Tigers took nine points at home to West Sydney Berries.
Grade 13
Marconi Stallions began the day as the competition leaders by a margin of two points after they had remained unbeaten over the first eight rounds while Manly United were in second position following wins in their last two matches.  The Stallions extended their margin to six points with a very impressive 8-1 victory and that has pushed Manly back to third.
After winning their last seven outings West Sydney Berries kicked off this week?s match in third place while APIA Leichhardt Tigers were ninth and they were coming off a last game loss. The Berries made it eight in a row with a 5-1 success that allowed them to claim second spot and left the Tigers at ninth.
Sutherland Sharks came into this round in fourth place and they were coming off a three match winning streak while Blacktown City were sixth with a loss and a win to show for last weekend. The Sharks slipped back to fifth when they went down 3-1 to the Demons who have remained at sixth.
Sydney Olympic were in fifth place at kick-off time following last week?s loss and South Coast Wolves were seventh thanks to a draw from their last outing. When Olympic claimed the points with a win by the odd goal in five they moved up to fourth while the Wolves have dropped back to eighth.
Sydney United started the day in eighth position after they had won their last game while Bankstown City were twelfth following three consecutive losses. United posted a 2-1 result and they have risen to seventh and the Lions slipped back to thirteenth.
Before a ball was kicked Bonnyrigg White Eagles were placed tenth after losing their last two games and Rockdale City Suns were thirteenth and they had picked up their first point for the season with a draw last week. The Suns proved that they were improving when they came up with a 2-1 win and they have climbed to twelfth as a result and the White Eagles are still tenth.
The Suns then backed up on Sunday to face eleventh placed Project 22 who had lost their last four matches. Rockdale continued their run of success with a 2-2 draw, an outcome that has left P22 at eleventh.
Grade 14
Sydney Olympic saw their unbeaten run of four matches come to a halt when they suffered a loss last week but they were still one point clear at the top of the table when this game began while South Coast Wolves were tenth after last week?s victory. When Olympic won this match 4-1 they extended their competition lead to four points and the Wolves have dropped back on place to eleventh.
West Sydney Berries had taken points from their last four matches with wins coming from their two most recent contests and they started the day in second spot and APIA Leichhardt Tigers were ninth after last week?s loss. The Tigers produced a real surprise when they came up with a 2-1 win but they have stayed at ninth while the Berries are still second.
Bankstown City were in fourth place at kick-off time following their first loss last week while Sydney United were eleventh after they broke a five match losing streak with last week?s victory. United showed that last week was not a fluke when they were 4-0 winners this week and they climbed into tenth place as a consequence while the Lions are now sixth.
Manly United arrived at this match in fourth place and they were coming off a last match loss while Marconi Stallions were seventh after last week?s match was not played but they had taken points from their three previous contests. The Stallions continued their recent success when they rose to fourth with a 1-0 victory and that caused Manly to tumble back to eighth.
After winning their last three matches Sutherland Sharks arrived at this game in fifth position and Blacktown City were third after last week?s match was postponed but they had earned points from their previous three outings. When this match finished at 1-1 both teams stayed where they were on the table.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles had posted a draw and a win from their last two games to be placed eighth when this match began while twelfth placed Rockdale City Suns had lost their last three contests. The White Eagles triumphed this week with a 2-0 scoreline and they are now seventh and the Suns are thirteenth.
On Sunday the Suns faced thirteenth placed Project 22 who were coming off a last match draw. Project 22 posted their first win of the season with a 3-2 result at they have moved up to twelfth.

Unbeaten Marconi Stallions were three points clear at the top of the table when this game kicked off and third placed Manly United had taken points from their last five matches. The Stallions are now five points ahead at the top after they were 2-0 winners while Manly have slipped back to fourth.
Sutherland Sharks began the day in second place after they had returned to the winners circle last week while Blacktown City, whose five game winning streak ended last week, were fifth. The Sharks dropped to third when they were held to a 2-2 draw by the Demons who are now sixth.
APIA Leichhardt Tigers were coming off a last game win and they began this match in fourth position while West Sydney Berries were tenth after last week?s loss. The Tigers claimed second spot with a solid 4-1 victory that has left the Berries at tenth.
Sydney Olympic came into this round in sixth spot after they had taken points from their last four matches while South Coast Wolves were eleventh following last week?s victory. Olympic rose to fifth thanks to a 3-0 success that has pushed the Wolves back to twelfth.
A last game loss had left Sydney United in seventh position at kick-off time and Bankstown City were ninth after losses in their last two games. The Lions claimed the full ration of points from this match with a 1-0 result and they have climbed to seventh while United are now ninth.
After losing their last six matches Rockdale City Suns arrived at this match in twelfth position while Bonnyrigg White Eagles were thirteenth and they had not registered their first point for this campaign. When the Suns were 2-1 winners they rose to eleventh and that left the White Eagles at the foot of the table.
The match between Project 22 and Rockdale City Suns ended in a 1-1 draw and that meant the P22 remained at eighth and the Suns were still eleventh..

Sutherland Sharks had taken points from all eight matches so far and they started this match three points clear  at the top of the table while Blacktown City were sixth following a last game loss. The reign of the Sharks continued when they produced a strong 3-0 victory and that has dropped the Demons back to seventh.
Sydney United had slipped back to second spot after last week?s first loss of the season and Bankstown City were tenth following losses in their last three matches. United?s 1-0 win this week has allowed them to retain second place but the Lions are now eleventh.
Manly United had taken points from their last six games and that meant they came into this round in third position while Marconi Stallions had produced wins from their last two outings and they were seventh. When the Stallions made it three in a row with a 3-0 result and they have climbed into fifth place while Manly have remained at third.

There seems to be no stopping the White Eagles as they produced a convincing 6-2 result this week to retain the competition lead and that has left the Suns at twelfth.
Wins in their last four games had taken Sutherland Sharks to second spot when this match kicked off while Blacktown City were fourth after losing their last two contests. The Sharks took their winning streak to five games with a 2-0 victory and they are still second while the Demons have dropped back to fifth.
Sydney United came into this round in third position after they registered a draw last week while tenth placed Bankstown City had lost their last six matches. The Lions returned to the winners? circle this week with a shock 2-1 win, a result that left both teams where they were on the table.

This match was certainly a high scoring thriller as it ended at 4-4 and that has dropped both teams back one place on the table.
APIA Leichhardt Tigers were seventh before a ball was kicked following a last match draw while eighth placed West Sydney Berries had posted a win and a draw from their last two games. When the Berries recorded a 2-1 win they scooted up to fourth place while the Tigers are now ninth.
