Morgan?s Wolves hungry to close season in style
With Wolves now guaranteed to avoid the foot of the NSW Premier League table, Morgan hopes to add further respectability to their position by adding further misery to West Sydney Berries disappointing season before looking to upset A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers? finals challenge in the closing round of regular season.
?I want them to win both games; no question,? said Morgan.
?Berries, last time we played them it was a draw.?
?It was probably the most ordinary football match you?ve ever seen in your life from both of us ? a real stalemate with both teams desperate to get something in what turned out to be just a fight and a struggle to nothing.?
?I guess they?re going to need to go for it, but we obviously have intentions of playing good football if we can again.?
?In the last round against APIA, they?re a good side,? Morgan continued.
?They?ve got plenty of experience and talent in their side but I think we owe them one (a defeat) as well because when we lost to them here (WIN Stadium) it was a bit of a frustrating one.?
?Again it was missed chances from us and conceding simple ones.?
With the return of key players such as Dave Abel, Mark Picciolini, and Samet Kaynak added to his youthful squad, Morgan believes his squad possesses the team chemistry and influential individuals necessary to close their season in style.
?Maybe Abel and a couple of other people make the difference,? said Morgan.
?Abel?s leadership at the back and his aerial power causes threats for the other team, and obviously Picca?s (Picciolini) already proven this year that he can score goals at this level, so having him back is great.?
?Then there?s Samet, who adds a little bit of something else.?
?The football?s not changed a hell of a lot in terms of the passing and the options; what we?re trying to do is have a couple of individuals try slightly different things,? Morgan concluded.
South Coast Wolves take on West Sydney Berries at WIN Stadium at 3pm on Sunday July 25th before travelling to Leichhardt Oval to face A.P.I.A. Leichhardt Tigers on Sunday August 1st.
