Defending Champions in the Open Men?s competition, it has been a particularly fruitful winter, with the return to the club of some valuable players.  Futsalroo Simon Keith returns to his Club after a season in the NSW Super League.  Along with Simmo is the return of Miles Downie after a stint in Europe.  The two Futsalroos will add a tonne of experience to this side already boasting current Futsalroos Dean ?Bully? Lockhart and Ian ?Macca? McAndrew.  Completing the roster are former Futsalroos Tuan Cao and Gavin O?Brien, Australian representative Shane Soutter, Australian train-on squad member Mark Symington and last season?s Premier League MVP Danny Martinez.  Rounding off the squad is the return of GK Jon Azzopardi and former Quake players Sahand Jahani and James Pearce.  Adding experience is the signing of former NSW rep Shane Hammond who returns after a serious knee injury.  With this squad, Quake boasts 8 players who have played for our Youth team or younger, further highlighting our alibility to produce and promote from within.  Coach Ralph Capasso and the squad are already busy at work preparing for what will no doubt be the toughest season yet.

Our Open Women are the defending Premiers and grand finalists and have been successful in retaining their entire squad from last season.  The only addition from outside of Quake was goalkeeper Mel McCauley who comes from Fusion adding to the goal keeping talent of Ash Brown.  Young ?veterans? Leesa Thomson, Claire Walsh and Stephanie Haim will once again lead from the front as youngsters Linda Dudek and Laura Donnelly back up from a successful last season.  Sarah Semaan, Caitlin ?Pommy? Jarvie and Lauren Ralston complete this very talented squad.  Zoeie Redman is the only member of the team stepping up from last year?s 16 Girls and plays her first season of Senior Futsal.  Coach Tom Thomson is keen for the season to begin and agrees that this will be the closest and most exciting competition in its short history.
