Fred did a tremendous amount of work for the Manly Warringah Football Association in its early years and helped lay the foundations for what the Association is today.  Fred held the positions of President from 1972 to 1977 and from 1988 to 1990, Secretary in 1978 and Senior Vice president in 1978, 1980, 1991-92. 
Fred was also a Member for Life of the Manly Warringah District Soccer Football Club and a previous Chairman for many years.
Fred, husband of Shirley, had 2 active boys playing football and a loving daughter together in their family unit.
Fred was a life member of the MWFA, received a Football NSW State Award in 1991 and also received the highest honour for services to Football in NSW, the George Churchward Medal in 1996.
In 2000 Fred and Shirley moved to the Central Coast, but both were still regular spectators on Finals weekend at Cromer Park and attended AGM?s every year.
The Board, Management and Staff of Football NSW offer our sincerest condolences to Fred?s family for their sad loss.

Tuesday the 21st of December @ 2pm @ Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden Valley Way, Leppington (near Liverpool).
A wake will be held at 3.30pm at the Liverpool Catholic Club, Liverpool. (Corner Joadja & Hoxton Park Roads, Liverpool West
