Premier Youth League Round 6 Review
There was some catch-up action from Round 2 played on Tuesday when Sydney Olympic faced Blacktown City at Lily Homes Stadium. It turned out to be a very good day for Olympic as they picked up ten of the available points from the four matches played.
Olympic were 1-0 winners in Grade 13, their first three-pointer for the season and that result continued Blacktown?s uncharacteristically poor start that has now taken them to five consecutive losses and they are yet to score a goal.
In Grade 14 Olympic registered their third victory with a 1-0 scoreline, handing Blacktown their fourth loss of this campaign. Then Olympic took the points again in Grade15 when they posted a 1-0 result, their third win and Blacktown?s second defeat.
Blacktown and Olympic shared the Grade 16 points when their match ended in a 1-1 draw.
The only Round 6 match played over the weekend was the Grade 18 game between Blacktown City and Sydney United and on this occasion the points went ti United when they were 7-2 winners.
